Sunny Day and Sunny Tears

Percedal's part of the story... time: 16:34

Percedal: "*mind*Kurisu is sleeping on top of a tree branch in a green forest on a sunny day. Raito is out on missions, Kaju is doing projects, while the youngest brother, me, is chilling and walking through the village."

As Percedal (14-year-old, average height, wearing a black cloak with a black shirt and pants under, with orange spiky hair.) enjoys his walk through the village, he stops by a small hut-like house next to the river that's going through the village, separating it into 2 equal pieces.

Old lady: "Looking for something, dear.?"

Percedal: "No, not really. What is this place?"

Old lady: "Well, "the era of infinite power" came to this world."

Percedal: "*mind* Sounds like a quote."

Old lady: "What's your name?"

Percedal: "*smiles slightly* Pecedal Honko Ares, friends and family call me PH."

Old lady: "*laughs softly* That's a nice name for such a strong young man."

Old lady: "If aren't aware, this is where you can choose to change your bloodline or element. Or as others like to call it, "spin" your bloodline or element. This is a thing that keeps the world from fully crumbling."

Percedal: "I think il try, can't be worse than what I have."

Percedal pulls out a scroll and puts it on a table.

An old lady puts her hands on the table, and the scroll opens and glows with all sorts of colors.

Percedal: "*mind* This feeling..."

Percedal's eyes widen, as he can see a thousand bloodlines and clans flashing before his eyes.

Kurisu's part of the story... time: 7:33 AM

Kurisu is in his bed, just woke up.

Kurisu: "*yawns* *mind* It's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like these, people like me, are usually late for school."

Kurisu gets out of the bed, in his white tank top and black shorts. He looks at a black cat clock on his wall.

Kurisu: "Ahhhhh shi-"

Kurisu packs his small black backpack, puts on his usual gray battle suit (pants and a gray shirt) with no sleeves, fingerless gloves that are up to his elbow and a face mask covering his mouth and nose. Kurisu goes out of the house and runs up the tree, then jumps off the branches above the village, seeking the shortest tree jumping route to his school.

1 hour later...

Kurisu is at his desk, in school.

???: "Hey, Ku."

Kurisu: "Sup Asahi."

Asahi: "*leans against a wall* Man, you were almost late to school..."

Kurisu: "Yes, I know that..."

Asahi: "How's Kaju?"

Kurisu: "The usual."

Kurisu looks at a window and sees a girl looking at him, blushing. She turns around quickly.

Kurisu: "*mind* Am I ugly?"

Asahi: "*whispers*I see, you noticed your secret fan?"

Kurisu: "My what now?"

Asahi: "*sighs* Ahhh nothing."

A teacher comes in.

Teacher: "Alright, everybody sits down, I will give you a physics test."

Nobody in the class is ready except one girl.

Kurisu: "*mind* Sweet mother of fu-"

43 minutes later...

Kurisu slams his face against his desk. Asahi comes by his table and says with disappointment:

Asahi: "You good bud'?"

Kurisu: "Nooooo..."

A girl (black long hair, black tight pants, purple jacket, white shirt magenta eyes (reddish-pink eyes)) comes up to him

Girl: "H-hey um, Kris, that's your name, right?"

Kurisu: "Well my name is Kurisu, which is a Japanese name, but my friends call me Kris."

Girl: "D-do you want to grab a drink with me sometimes?"

Asahi is just sitting in the background, listening to them with a smile on his face. The girl turns around and looks at her friends, they seem to be cheering her on.

Kurisu: "Sure. Can I at least know your name?"

Girl: "Evangeline, but friends call me Eva."

Kurisu: "Cute."

Evangeline blushes and walks away flustered. Kurisu turns around, facing Asahi who is still in the background, listening.

Kurisu: "What?"

Kurisu pulls a metal bottle and drinks out of it.

Asahi: "My man, you are going on a date."

Kurisu spits his water and looks Asahi straight in the eyes.

Kurisu: "Bro, she just asked me out on a drink."

Asahi: "That's how it always starts, with something small. She becomes obsessed with you, and you get addicted to her, you both get into a bed and-"

Kurisu: "OKAY I GET IT."

Asahi looks at a clock and turns back to Kurisu.

Asahi: "We still have 25 minutes until the next lesson."

Kurisu: "Tree-hang?"

Asahi: "Tree-hang."

5 minutes later...

Both are sitting on top of a branch of a tall tree (NOTE: their normal tree is twice as big as ours.) near their school, behind a small bar, with an open field.

Asahi: "So, do you have any plans for the future?"

Kurisu: "Give me something easier."

Asahi: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Kurisu: "I want to be a strong Shindo like my father was, have a great peaceful life, and-"

Kurisu's flashback:

Kurisu: "*screams in pain* DAD!! NO!!"

???: "I'm sorry..."

End of the flashback.

Asahi: "*widens his eyes* And? Are you okay, you look a little pale."

Kurisu: "Y-yea."

Asahi: "Are you sure? We can go to the nurse if you are not feeling well."

Kurisu: "Yea, I'm fine."

Asahi: "So, about that date, you're going on-"

Kurisu: "I told you already, I'm just going out to go on a walk with the smartest girl in our class, out of friendship interest."

Asahi: "Are you sure? I mean, she has a beautiful face, nice body shape, long black hair and, a good-sized chest, and a big juicy-"

Kurisu: "Stop, that's enough! And no, I'm not interested in her body features."

Asahi: "You mean as-"

Kurisu pushes Asahi off the tree branch. Asahi falls to the floor on his back and yells:

Asahi: "You could've killed me!"

Kurisu: "You are training constantly, you can survive a little fall."

Asahi: "I'm still a teen, and it still hurts!"

Kurisu: "You're fine."

10 minutes later...

Kurisu and Asahi are back in their classroom, on their seats. Evangeline comes to Kurisu again.

Evangeline: "Hey Kurisu, w-want to go to the Fortune Cafe? After school of course!"

Kurisu: "Sure, I don't see why not. *mind* Why are her cheeks so red?"

Evangeline: "I want to get to k-know you better, so want to chat a little bit?"

Kurisu: "*mind* Alright, that's easy. *out loud* how would you describe your personality?"

Evangeline: "*blushes a little* Ummm... s-shy-"

Kurisu: "*mind* Smart, cute, caring, shy and humble."

Evangeline: "C-can you tell me about yours?"

Kurisu: "Tall, not attractive, stupid, weak-"

Evangeline: "*whispers* N-not true... *turns her head away*"

Kurisu: "Hm? Say that a bit louder."

Evangeline: "*blushes and looks down, putting her hands behind her back.* I s-said that's not true!"

Kurisu: "What do you think I am then? I suck at most things."

Evangeline: "*mind* Oh god, what do I do?? Do I run away, tell him or die right here???"

Kurisu puts his hand on her cheeks and brings her head out of her mind. She looks at him blushing even more.

Kurisu: "You look a little red... do you have a fever?"

Evangeline: "*blushes even more and widens her eyes* N-no, I'm fine!"

Asahi is just watching from his seat.

Asahi: "*mind* Bro, this guy needs some lectures about love. I can't keep on watching him missing his chances!"

Evangeline puts his hands away from her face.

Evangeline: "*mind* HIS HANDS! Why are they so soft???"

Evangeline is still holding his hands and Kurisu looks in confusion.

Kurisu: "Eva, you are holding me tightly."

Kurisu: "*mind* What's up with her? Red face, not thinking straight... what kind of fever does she have?"

Random boy: "Guys look, that freak is attacking our beauty!!!"

Evangeline blushes, even more, turning completely red.

Kurisu: *sighs*

After classes...

All of the students are coming out of the school, on their way home.

Asahi: "Another boring school day is over..."

Kurisu: "Yea... see you later bro, I have some other things to attend."

Asahi: "You mean, the da-"

Kurisu: "If you finish that word, I'm going to kill you."

Kurisu sees Evangeline with her friends and goes up to her.

Kurisu: "Hey Eva, are you coming?"

Evangeline: "I almost forgot... I was going to go home with my friends."

One of her friends comes near and whispers in her ear.

Evangeline: "Guess we can go now, Kurisu."

Kurisu: "Alright."

A few minutes later...

Kurisu and Evangeline are out of the village, walking inside of a forest."

Evangeline: "S-so, what can you tell me about yourself?"

Kurisu: "I've already told you."

Evangeline: "Well, that's what most people think of you..."

She turns her head away, looking at the forest.

Kurisu: "That's what I think of myself too. I'm not strong enough, not smart, not good-looking, I'm not anything good."

Evangeline: "Why...?"

Kurisu: "*looks at her* What do you mean?"

Evangeline: "*looks him in the eyes* Why do you think you're that bad...? You are careful, caring, sometimes a real genius... and I think you are a-attractive!"

Kurisu: "*widens his eyes a little* *mind* I'm... impressed... overcoming her shyness just to compliment me enough to leave me speechless...*smiles*"

Evangeline: "Are you okay?"

Kurisu: "Y-yes, I'm fine."

Evangeline: "Well I g-guess it's my turn..."

Evangeline: "I'm shy, especially around boys, they've been always trying to get near me just for my looks. I've been attacked so many times before... that's why I'm always near my friends..."

Kurisu: "*mind* That's... wait, I'm a boy?? Well, I feel a little offended..."

Evangeline: "You are probably wondering, why am I going out alone with you. My friends always had an eye out on you, but the only thing they noticed is... that you are completely not attracted to girls or boys, you don't even understand love... so maybe if I had a boyfriend, they will stop coming for me!"

Kurisu seems to get a little bit sad and disappointed.

Kurisu: "*mind* I don't know if I should feel honored or insulted."

Kurisu: "Why do they believe in me so much?"

Evangeline: "You just seem like somebody who anybody can rely on. They did test their theories. If you remember, the girl that bends over right next to you sometimes to pick up something she dropped, and a few other things, like her and a few other girls sitting on your table."

Kurisu: "Wait, that's what they were doing? I see what you mean... *mind* THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO??? STARE AT THAT??? This god damn society..."

Kurisu gets even more disappointed.

Evangeline: "*looks at him* Are you okay? I-I'm sorry if I made you disappointed."

Kurisu: "No, it's fine..."

Evangeline: "You can tell me if something is bothering you, we are alone."

Kurisu: "It's getting annoying... people treat me bad out of no reason, call me a freak, and now I don't even know what love is. Anything I do doesn't change it... nobody trusts me... except another guy who everybody else despises."

Evangeline: "*turns her head away slowly* *mind* Oh god..."

Kurisu's ears tingle a little.

Kurisu: "Wait."

Evangeline: "Huh?"

Kurisu does an ability that Shindo calls "Stone Style: Stone Barrage" (Pulls out a few chunks of the ground around the user and throws it at the target.) and throws it at a tree behind them. A branch breaks off and a girl falls.

Kurisu: "Wait, isn't that your friend?"

Evangeline: "I-I can explain!"

Kurisu: "Heh... I was stupid enough to think you would trust me... of course, abuse the hopeless freak, that knows nothing about girls or love..."

Evangeline: "Wait, i can expla-"

Kurisu: "No. There is nothing to explain."

Kurisu jumps onto the tree and jumps away.

Evangeline: "*Screams* KURISU, WAIT!"

Kurisu: "*mind* Why... why me? Always me, the worst, the dumbest, the weakest..."

Kurisu lands and starts running faster and faster.

Kurisu: "*mind* First their death, then my whole school hates me, and now this?"

Kurisu: "*mind* Each time I get hope, I get broken even more..."

Kurisu's eyes start glowing blue and he goes even faster.

Kurisu: "My only friend is another freak... thrown away by the society, forced to be fools and villains..."

Kurisu: "*screams on top of his lungs* I CAN'T HANDLE IT ANYMORE!!!"

He stops running and releases a big light blue wave right as he screams.

Kurisu: "*looks at his hands* *whispers* The only things that were giving me hope... left me in their ashes..."

Time: 16:00

Kurisu feels weakened right as his eyes stop glowing. He climbs up a tree and sits on one of the branches, leaning against the tree. He is looking at the sky... within his eyes.

Kurisu: "*mind* I don't want this hell anymore...where ever I walk, I only bring pain behind. Why?"

As he says that, everything around him feels heavier, everything looks grey except his light blue glow coming out of his eyes.

Kurisu: "*mind* How am I used to these powers? They are not even normal or rare, only a random thing that happens to me. The light blue glow, the power, the speed..."

Kurisu climbs on top of a tree and watches the sky.

Kurisu: "*whispers to himself* Sometimes the sky makes me feel calmer and clears my mind..."

Kurisu falls asleep on the tree branch...

Kaju's part of the story... Time: 15:00

Kaju: "*mind* FUCK SHIT, NO SHIT FUCK!"

A teacher puts a paper on Kaju's school desk, it's a test.

Kaju: "*mind* FUUUUUUUU-."

A girl (wearing a red top with dark grey tight shorts, a sleeve on her left hand, blonde, blue eyes.) that's sitting next to him mumbles something.

Kaju: "*whispers* Are you okay Ren? You seem a bit off."

Ren: "*kisses him and chuckles* *whispers* Yea, I'm just a little nervous about the test."

Kaju: "*smiles* *whispers* Alright."

They both continue doing the tests...

After school... Time: 18:54

Kaju and Ren are in front of his house.

Kaju: "*opens the door* Dad, I'm home!"

Kurisu: "He's not here, he just went to get groceries..."

Kurisu is sitting by a table in their kitchen, eating ramen, while looking sad...

Kaju: "*takes off his shoes* Are you okay?"

Kurisu: "*looks away* Yes, I'm fine. Hello Ren."

Kurisu takes his bowl and goes upstairs to his room.

Ren: "*takes off her shoes* Is he okay? He's been off lately, and we both know he never eats in his room."

Kaju: "*mind* I hope he's fine..."

In the morning... time: 7:00

Ren and Kaju are sleeping together in Kaju's room.

Ren: "*wakes up* *sees Kaju awake* What time is it..."

Kaju is standing by the window, only in his pants with no shirt on, looking at something outside.

Kaju: "Goodmorning dear, it's around 6:40-6:50 I think."

Ren: "What's going on outside?"

Kaju: "Kurisu and PH are training, but Kurisu never wakes up early..."

Ren: "You should talk to him, brother to brother."

Kaju: "It's better if we both do, his friend and brother to brother."

Ren: "Oh, I forgot for a moment... let's go help him!"

Kaju: "Wait, first put some clothes on!!"

Ren: "*chuckles* Oh right, sorry!"

They get dressed and go outside.

Percedal: "Hey, Kaju, Ren, you came in just the right moment!"

Kaju: "I meant to ask you something, what's that on your back?"

Percedal: "I got Minakami bloodline! The bloodline that controls human-sized puppets!"

Kaju: "That's great! Hey Kurisu, can we talk for a second?"

Kurisu comes to Kaju and Ren, while Percedal is going inside.

Percedal: "I'll be right back, I'm starving!"

Ren: "Tell us if something is bothering you, Kawai-Kun!"

Kurisu: "You're still calling me that?"

Kaju: "Well, you were a cute small bean."

Kurisu: "I was her little "cuddling bear" ages ago! I'm not a kid anymore."

Ren: "*hugs him* You still are! Now tell us, is something bothering you!"

Kurisu: "Nothing. I'm fine..."

Kaju: "Come on, we can help you.*hugs him*"

Kaju and Ren hug him tightly. Kurisu lets out a tear and hugs them back tightly.

???: "*mind* Broken, thrown away... a freak..."

Somebody is watching from the branches of a tree next to their house. Nobody notices him.

???: "*whispers* The time is coming, Asura."
