The Legendary Man

Long ago, there was a legendary man. He fought countless men to the death until he was labelled the strongest in the world. Years later, the man was on his deathbed, surrounded by disciples and he said to them, "One of you, continue my legacy and become the strongest". And so, bad times began. The disciples were loose lipped and spread the word and so, many began pursuing a life similar to the man in hopes of becoming the strongest. About 200 years later, our 'hero' is born. He too wishes to become the strongest just like the others. This story follows his journey to becoming the strongest.

She was really weird

I ran off instead of regrouping. If they saw the body they'd probably think of me and some crazy fucker. I made it back to the beach and made my way to the Inn. "Are there any rooms available?" I asked

"Yes, that'll be 30 for a night" she responded.

"Sure, also have you seen a woman with long black hair and blue eyes?" I asked handing her the money

"Yes, you're in the fourth room and she'll be in the third or second"

"Alright thanks" I said making my way to my room. I dropped my pouch off and knocked on the third room first. No one answered so I went over to the next. "Adae, are you there?" I asked.

"Yes, sorry I came a bit late" she responded cracking the door open, "Bare with me I'll be out soon". I nodded and stood on the wall. I realised that she hadn't really helped me in any way but she hadn't done anything bad either. I also began to realise how little I knew about her except her name.

Eventually she came out. "I'm gonna go on a walk, what did you want to talk about?"

"What is your relation with Andador?" I asked. She stared at me blankly before saying,

"He's from the same place as me, that's about it" she responded

"Alright, also how was the legendary man, personality wise?" I asked, switching subjects. I knew to little about how much power she had to be too confrontational. If she had connections to the descendants of the disciples then I'd be in danger.

"I know nothing about him personally but he was described as kind and gentle to most and even showed mercy to his enemies" she responded, "Is that it?"

"Yea, I'll be going to my room now, goodnight" I said walking off to my room. I needed to know her relation to Andador. I also realised how little I knew about both of them and the fact I'd recently seen little of them both was odd. Nevertheless, I'd still execute that shithead but it was good to be cautious of the effects of my actions.

The next morning came and I awoke earlier than usual to a knock on the door. "Let's get going" said Adae slightly opening the door which I'd forgotten to lock.

"Alright, hold on" I said getting up. I look outside and the sun was still only beginning to rise. She was really weird
