The Legendary Man

Long ago, there was a legendary man. He fought countless men to the death until he was labelled the strongest in the world. Years later, the man was on his deathbed, surrounded by disciples and he said to them, "One of you, continue my legacy and become the strongest". And so, bad times began. The disciples were loose lipped and spread the word and so, many began pursuing a life similar to the man in hopes of becoming the strongest. About 200 years later, our 'hero' is born. He too wishes to become the strongest just like the others. This story follows his journey to becoming the strongest.

I want to know more about him

I dumped his body in a group of thick bushes outside of the gates and came back. I sat on the floor as there were not benches and looked on. I couldn't sleep in case the carriage came in early morning. If I woke up at midday or so there would be too many people for me to rob a horse. It was boring but I kept looking on for the rest of the day and the night. Morning came again and the carriage came. There was no one about yet since the sun had just risen. I stood and walked towards it. "Goin' for a ride?" asked the man as he stepped down, "Wait until more people come". I stayed quiet and just as I got ready to kill him I heard a voice behind me say, "Can we borrow a horse?". I turned back and it was Adae.

"How much are you payin'?" he asked.

"We don't have money but is there any other job you'd like us to do?". I realised I forgot to steal money from the old man's house.

"Hmm, you can kill someone for me, a big competitor ya know" he said grinning.

"Yes we can" I responded, "Where can we find him?".

"He'll be here in about an hours time" he responded. I nodded and sat back down. It was only an hour now.

In about 50 minutes, the man arrived. A fat man with a strangely long mustache. I got up and walked towards him. "Lookin' for a carriage ride?" he asked grinning slyly at the other man. I drew my sword and cut his head off.

"Give us a horse now" I said walking towards him. He nodded grinning and released one of them. "Get on".

We began our journey to Ubok through the forest. The journey was silent and awkward. If she didn't talk then neither would I. Eventually, we left the forest and entered a lucious grassland. It was beautiful, something I hadn't seen in the homeland. I nearly lost control of the horse but it wasn't beautiful enough. In the distance, there was a shed. It looked empty so I stopped the horse and went in to investigate. It was rundown and old. I opened the dusty drawers and as it collapsed, many books fell out. I scowered through the books and found one called 'the legendary man'. It took it and saved it for later. I want to know more about him
