I gripped the dirt below and flicked my foot back on the ground. I flicked my head backward along with my torso to a standing position as I arms flew a little backward before flicking forwards, just like my body dropping to the ground again.
I am so tired… I don't want to move at all.
-Can't I just stay here?
…
There was no response.
'Of course, there isn't.'
I gave a smile.
I was drenched in mud and sand. I was so tired, and my mind was so strangely quiet. I had always wanted my mind to be quiet, but now I have it, it merely feels strange.
I was staying on the floor as the sky rains down. I didn't want to move before a single thought…
"I made a promise!"
My eyes thin down and I grit my teeth. I lifted my head off the dirt grounds and swung it, so my hair falls back, leaving me space to see. My two hands pushed into the ground as I lifted my torso up and my legs soon after. I began to wander deeper into the forest with only the thought of survival.
Brunches of leaves drip into my view as I wandered around aimlessly. I passed a tree, and another soon after. I wobbled to the left and to the right, before gripping a tree on the left for a small break before leaving. The sky was raining; the dirt was wet and messy. I stump my foot down and list as I used the surround tree and plants for support.
At last, the tree and plants begin to fade as I separated an arm-thick brunch from a tree and made it suitable for walking. I walked and walked before I notice, I was out.
My mind was tired, all I could think about was getting a bit of sleep, but it was no time, and it would be too dangerous to stay still. What was displayed in front of me was a huge large open stone entrance with plants growing from the sides inwards. My eyes are barely open, and my brain was barely functioning, but that didn't mean anything to me.
I pushed out another large portion of energy from my brain as my left-hand lifts to clench my head, before it stopped hurting. I send out a wave signal into the cave, though the signal wasn't strong enough to grasp what's completely inside. All I knew was there were staircases inside, and it leads upwards to a large extent, but that was I need to know to take the risk.
I took my first steps towards the cave before quickly I was inside of it, passing the entrance with the thick hanging vines. A straightforward staircase leads upwards was on the right, and I took the risk.
…
It has been hours since I started the stairs. The path was filled with nothing but black. It travels upwards in an unchanging angle. The place was so empty and quiet. The sizing of the pathing never changes. It makes almost impossible keep track of the time. I used to feel tired and stressed, but now, I don't feel anything anymore.
'I am over exorcized.'
I took a chance. I glared down with a slight turn from my head downwards. I created a thousand compressed layers in the air matching the angle of the staircase travel direction right behind me. I pulled myself and jumped backward and changed my body angle while remaining in a straight line. I released the jump and covered my body with a sticky aura.
'This should last me for about 8 hours.'
I closed my eyes and took a nap as I flew through the air with a sensing detector added to the protection aura.
When I woke up, I already landed. I was still in the dark. I looked at the time on my knowledge cube to only notice 12 hours has already passed.
'I was on the ground for 4 hours like this.'
I deactivated my aura and tried to lift myself up. It was only at this moment; I realized the after effects of my damaged body. My heart was pumping so fast and my muscles were practically screaming. This properly would have been different if it happened two years ago when I was a lot stronger physically, with Anna…
I took in a deep breath in the cold air of the area into my hurting lungs. My brain was exploding too. As I was about to create another compressed bouncer, my head began to hurt. It was almost half-formed before breaking and disappearing into the air. I decided to aimlessly walk the stairs upwards like I use to do and continued as I wait for my brain to finally function.
I limbed and climbed up the stairs before falling again on my knees only after 4 hours. My eyes were clearer, a sign that my brain was functioning better. I took in tens of large breaths of cold air in to lower my body temperature, as feel like I had a fever. The many layers begin to construct, ten compressed, another ten compressed. Hundred compressed… thousands compressed… and again. I jumped on it.
[Release]
I was in the air again, and it all went blank as I put up my aura. I tried lifting my fingers, but it wouldn't respond. My eyes were closed shut and it wouldn't open. Everywhere was hurting. I couldn't feel my body at all as the song, Last train home plays through Anna's knowledge cube inside my head. I relaxed and one thought cam to my mind.
'Let fate gild me.'
