CHAPTER FORTY SIX

"I don't understand. Why should he want to deal with just you? What's making you different from the rest?" Emily asked

"I have no idea either but if he wants to deal with me then let's let him. He has a plan, that is obvious but I need him to think that we are giving up on this fight. It makes things easier for us. He needs to think that we are on his side, might not be for the right reasons but we are"

"Are you sure about this? Things might not work out the way you plan it to" Carla asked

"If it doesn't work out, then we find another way, and another way and we keep finding ways until Cyrus is no longer a threat to anybody"

Carla looked at Beth and she could tell that her mind was made up. There was no changing that. She nodded at her and Emily did the same. Carla opted to send her home early so she could prepare to meet Cyrus but Emily decided against the idea
