CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

Janet and Maggie looked at their coffee offered to them by some of the people working there. It should be dark by now but they suddenly realized they were in Australia, different time zones. Robert had led them to an inner chamber most likely for privacy so he could explain to them what the hell he meant by he was their father.

Robert gave them time. He stood beside the window staring outside. Maggie was the first to pick her coffee and gulp it down. Janet followed. Next some cooks came in bringing varieties of dishes. They neatly arranged them in front of the two girls.

"We’re not hungry" Janet blurted, " we just need to hear your explanation."

Robert smiled at them. "It’s better you eat," he said," you’ll need your strength for what’s to come. There’s much at stake and now that you people are here I fear the time has come. Eat now girls, it’s obvious you both are hungry. I have the answers to all your questions.'
