Delilah's hands trembled as she fidgeted with the string to take off her dress. Though this was her idea, it was still scary to reveal herself to Rafael. This was the man she loved, sitting right before her. Her nervousness was higher than it was on other days when she was around Rafael. She longed for this moment, but not like this.
Rafael frowned, dismayed by what she was trying to do to him. She was preparing herself to cry that he had seen her body when she was a young woman not yet married. For him to marry her to save her name.
"Edwin," Rafael called before she was able to remove her garment. It was by some luck that her hands trembled, and she could not quickly untie the dress to do as she wanted.
