Nora was clearly not happy that Marvis did not came home directly, its was not the first time she waited for Marvis but as soon as she saw Marvis, her anger vanished and tears filled her eyes as she hugged him and cried, while the carriage slowly made its way toward the Palace.

Both Mother and Son left the carriage as they moved towards Marvis's room where she had a long talk with Marvis(Clearly she loved Marvis more maybe its just human nature, wanting to protect the weak, Marvis was just a weak child in her eyes)

Seeing how much his mother loved him he left a bit guilty and decided to tell her mother everything..

"Mother actually i am not weak... " said marvis as he was about to continue, his mother stopped him as she said:

"i know i know my son is not weak, my son is super strong and will not cry or make his mother worry anymore.. tommorw you will have your affinity checked. so have a good sleep and make sure you put the blanket properly its cold at night" as she said all these she put the dumbfound marvis into his bed and gave him a kiss on his forehead as she turned of the lamp and left..

Marvis's eyes were wide open and his mind was totally somewhere else. He then sighed as he smiled bitterly.

"I might have taken this too far.. now even if i say true none will believe me" said marvis as he was about to fall asleep, suddenly he had a thought "Tomorrow is my affinity check maybe that time i will show everyone how strong i am" with that thought he fell asleep.

Next morning,

The whole capital was bustling more than usual because only 2 days were left for the Entrance test of academy.(the name of academy had not been made public yet), more and more people were visiting the capital.

The affinity test of royal Family was also done in secrecy and made news were made public after some days ..

Today in the training round the whole step up of affinity was already established and marvis went inside the center and started to send his aura in the crystal...

He felt that something was getting sucked out of his body which was clearly not a good feeling... For Caby, Naur or Laxus it just took them 30 minutes to have there Aura totally sucked in by the crystals, but for Marvis it took long 2 hours which made royal family slightly worried since there was no one in the world who took 2 hours.

Marvis thought" see all of you how much aura i have, it means i am this strong. do you guys understand now??"

But his family had different thought, all of them were thinking that Marvis had pitiful aura which is why crystal is taking time to recharge. Laxus first had some doubts but when he saw Marvis he casted his doubts away thinking "how can little Marvis be this strong, its not possible..."

after 4 fours finally the towers started to lit up as they shot frightening amount of lights into Marvis.

Marvis Body devoured everything crazily without end, he could fell hot all around his body...

He smiled as he thought"Guys now you will see how powerfull Marvis is"

Suddenly booommmmmmmmm!!!!!!! everything exploded near him even the crystals...

At first Royal family thought it was normal Explosion which happens when they get affinty but soon they knew they were mistaken as the crystal exploded..

"Marvisssss!!!! Third Brother!!!!" Shouted everyone as they moved towards the center...

Marvis could be seen in disfigured clothes which his skin was burned by the explosion, he was unconscious..

"Guards check what went wrong and investigate properly everything, i want answer in 1 hour" shouted Roland as he caught Marvis in his arms as he dashed towards the Imperial doctor.

When all that was happening Marvis's consciousness was actually at some other place, In that dark room he was alone with nothing else.

"hmmm? where am i ?? what am i doing here ? i was about to get my affinity ? shittt am i being kidnapped by someone?? shiittt i lost my chance to show my family my power!" said Marvis as he looked around everywhere..

"Hows my son doctor??? will he fine?? doctor is he in danger??" Nora blasted more than Hundred questions on the doctors face.

"Her highness please dont worry he is just unconscious and his skin is slightly burned, he will soon be alright" said doctor consoling Nora..

"Its all my fault i should have never let him go through affinity, he wanted a normal life it was me who said he was strong and now see what happened " said Nora as she cried again on Rolands shoulder.

"Its not your fault honey, someone must have tampered with the inscription which cause it to react, i promise you i will get down to it." said Roland

"Mother don't worry, nothing will happen to Third brother." The three brothers said to their mother.

Back in the black room Marvis had already spend more than 30 days thinking something might happen if he waiting but clearly nothing happened. He then noticed a small light which was as small as a dot. He moved towards that dot. He walked and walked and walked and walked ..

Its been thirty years since he had been walking toward the light. He never left hungry or thristy or grow. He just knew its been a long time he started walking.. While walking he had many unusual thought which made him think about how humans came in this world or how this world exist or is there anything outside this world??

He became more mature as the time went by.. 100 years passed he walked towards the light.. the light does grow but only a little, he had nearly forgotten who he was. as he walked towards the light subconsciously...

"Marvis my son! i love you " as he was about to lose himself in the darkness he suddenly heard a voice in his mind .

"BoOOOOOOOMMMMMM!! something exploded in his mind as he remembered everything about his mother and everyone.....

"Mother!!!!" Cried Marvis as tears stream down from his face, this was the first time he had really cried.(Except when he was born).

After that with a determined look he moved towards the light ....

500 years later he was again about to lose himself... he had learned a lot of things and started to appreciate everything more, he wanted to see life again, he wanted to see his family...

He didn't gave up and continued to move.... suddenly he thought of what life is... and received an enlightenment about life , the sat down and after a deep thought he said " Life is so ironic, it takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value presence" as soon as he said those words.. the whole black world he was trapped in started to crumble and a deep dark voice could be heard.
