Chapter Sixteen: A Fight through Several Realms

Syphron:

Watching her sleep, a quiet rage brewing in my eyes. Renkin sat in the corner with his arms folded across his chest. How could she risk her life when she is carrying our child? Gauze covered her arms, my brother's voice only pissed me off further. Happy that he intervened when he did but she was still behaving recklessly. Not to mention, this was the first battle in thousands of years.

"That was a necessary step for her to get stronger." He said simply, resting his head on his hands. "It helped me figure out her true powers. I was going to save her anyway until she accepted the duel like an idiot. Of course, she had to be so fucking stubborn." Apparently, he was pissed at her as well. Clearing his throat, he switched legs. Burying his head into his palms, deep growls rumbled in his throat.

"Now I know she just has the pure energy of Hell and it can change into anything." He continued tiredly, a deep breath tumbling from his lips. "I really care about her, and putting herself in that much danger was incredibly stupid. I mean come on! She just winging it, and still fucking won. If anyone can win a war, I think it is her. We need to refine a few things." Chuckling warmly to myself, he was right. The next step was getting her magic in control, his fingers snapping. Nothing remained where he once sat, the peace and quiet a welcome change. Jerking awake, my heart fluttered at her rubbing her eyes groggily.

"Did I do okay?" She inquired softly, gazing lovingly at me. "I hope you didn't really worry too much." My eyebrow twitched irritably, the corner of my lips quivering. Disbelief burned in my eyes, could she actually be serious. Watching me calmly, tears welled up in my eyes. How could she ask such a stupid question!

"You were stupid." I snapped bitterly, my temper officially lost. "I am not that you ripped me up but the fact you put your life on the fucking line when you are carrying our child. What if you had died! Then what would I have done?" Gritting her teeth, she swung her feet over the edge of the bed. Throwing on the black sweater and black leather mini skirt, she brushed past me once more. Each day her attitude grew more frustrating, my fists clenching until black dripped onto the floor. Whatever, I growled to myself. She can go act like an idiot somewhere else, my fingers drumming on the bed.

"Aren't you going to go after her like always?" Dally inquired sincerely, my head shaking wildly. "The fight was that bad. How about you make it up to her somehow? Did she have a favorite place to wander around? This is her hometown, right?" Rolling my eyes, she didn't get it. Chewing on my lips, my temper was a bit too hot right now to deal with my wife. Standing to my feet, Dally shrank back as I paused in the doorway.

"I don't care. I am still pissed at her. I would just yell at her right now if I saw her face." I mumbled under my breath, knowing the first part wasn't true at all. "Besides, we could use a little space." Dally clung to my legs, my dark jeans clinging to my leg. Trying to kick her off, her grip only tightened.

"You aren't breaking up are you?" She asked with teary eyes, looking like a small child. "Then she would run away forever, and none of us would ever see her again. Life would be boring." Shaking her off, a darkness tinted my aura. Marching down the halls, the afternoon sun felt warm on my skin. Shoving my hands into my pocket, she needed to realize that her magic would never match my level. Then again what did I do to help her. Oh yeah, nothing. Perhaps the person I was angry at was me, the dirt crunched underneath my boots. The pathway twisted to the big rock that I used to sit behind, tracing the white lines of the rock. The cool rock felt like home as I slid down the smooth surface of the rock, my wrist resting on my knees. Animals scurried by, a noise snapping me out of my trance. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of Pumpkin resting on her haunches, her trembling hand tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. Silent teardrops crashed to the smooth surface of the rock, her eyes falling on me. Choosing to ignore me, the silence was killing me. Struggling to her feet, she collapsed to her knees.

"Leave me alone, and go find a new rock. I am going to enjoy the freedom I earned. Alone." She retorted sarcastically, throwing a pine cone at my head. Rolling my eyes, the dirt crunched as I stood to my feet. Leaping to the top of the rock, she struggled to her feet. Leaping into the trees, the branches creaked with each jump. Growling to myself, the branches protested with each leap. Picking up her speed, her white hair looked like the tail of a deer. Snapping my fingers, the trees disappeared. Clapping her hands, an inky blackness spread across the forest. Snapping her fingers, wires whipped underneath my feet. Her bare feet barely touched the wire, my boots barely staying on her wire. Clapping my hands, the blackness faded to a light blue sky. Skidding to a stop, the surface of my serene pool of clear water. Sinking into the water, her hair stuck to her face as a white marble table rose next to her. Jumping back into the water, she really didn't want to talk to me. White marble tables popped up everywhere, her body swiftly avoiding them. Whipping her wires around them, they all shattered into a million pieces.

"Why won't you fucking talk to me, damn it!" I cried out in frustration, my foot stomping like a small child. "You are being ridiculous! We need to work through this." Her slender hand wrapped around my ankle, the cold water lashing at my skin as she pulled me under. Her hair flowed all around her face, the heel of her foot cracking my realm. Clutching her close to my chest, her body stiffened. Swimming up to the surface, water drops shattered the still surface. Refusing to let her down, she struggled in my arms.

"You are going to listen." I threatened exhaustively, her wire whipping into my face. "I love you and just don't want to lose you, you crazy nut! What were you doing when you were just standing there? He could have killed you." Her eyes narrowed in my direction, her lips pressing into a thin line. This cold shoulder treatment wore on my nerves, her heel jammed into my knee. Losing my grip on her, she was back in the water. Taking a deep breath, the water cascaded over me as I dived in. Swimming after her, her heel smashing through the base of my realm. Dropping through, storm clouds brewed over my head. Her white hair shined like a beacon in the black abyss, my eyes rolling once more. Leaping into the hole, she just landed us into the abyss of all dark magic. A snarl curled on my lips, the hole sealing shut behind me. Ash drifted aimlessly, the black trees contrasting the blood red sky. Monsters roared in the distance, her sword not coming to her. Our weapons wouldn't work here, black wires swirling over her head.

"You can't get out of here without finding the long lost demon king!" I shouted over the chaos heading our way, her soaking wet hair and clothes clinging to her body. "You can talk to me, you know." Flipping me off, she sprinted into the woods. What the fuck was her damn deal! Running in after her, a low level bat creature and her were sparring. Dodging the wires, her foot slammed into its chest. Wrapping the wire around its neck, she snapped her finger. The wire softened into rope, her triumphant grin lighting up her face. Wrestling it to the ground, the torturous squeals echoed in the air. Leaning close to its leathery ear, the squeals changed to a strange purr. Motioning me to hop on, the black fur felt soft against my skin. Her gentle expression told me that she was back to normal, adventure twinkling in her eyes.

"I was mulling through a few things." She chirped cheerfully, yanking back on the rope. "I am purposely seeking an audience with his majesty, your one key to taking back your throne. As for the duel, I knew from his aura that it wasn't going to go anywhere. The moment he kicked my arms, his fighting style became clear. From that point on I knew he fed off of fear, and required everything to go just his way. Building a net may seem useless but it bought me time. I am sorry that I scared you. I didn't expect to lose my control so easily. Take me to your king, my dear creature." Hot air lashed at my cheeks, her real smile brightening her face. Free, she looked so free.

"I also discovered that I can talk to any demonic creature, and tame them with my silver tongue." She continued sweetly, twisting her hair into a simple side bun. "We have a free ride without doing half of the work. Isn't that right?" Ruffling the creature's fur, a purr rumbled its entire body. Soaring higher into the sky, her slender hands guiding my arms around her waist. Flying for a few hours, a black magma castle twirled into the sky. Orange lava swirled around the moat, our new friend telling all of the creatures to back down. Swooping into the tallest tower, a dusty throne loomed darkly around us. Spiderwebs covered a velvet throne, a pair of dress boots echoing behind us. All of my breath left my body, an older version of me stood behind me. His short black hair hung over his red eyes, one stripe of white catching my eyes. His black lips curled into a wicked grin, his black dress shirt and black wool pants reminding me of my old man's casual style.

"Syphron! Is that you?" He exclaimed excitedly, his ruby eyes twinkling with adventure. "You grew up to be a handsome boy." Cocking my brow in suspicion, his arms embracing me warmly. You look just like your mother. What brings you to the abyss?" Pumpkin skipped into his view, my uncle releasing me from his embrace. Dancing over to her, scarlet burned her cheeks. Uncertainty flickered in their eyes, a lack of trust hiding beneath his sly smile.

"You found me, you clever little raven." He mused playfully, spinning her around. "You are that bastard's daughter. He tossed me down here and I can't say that I am pleased to be looking at his half-demon scum of a daughter." Tossing her aside, his attention turned back towards me. A snarl curled on my lips, a raise of her hand stopping me. Knowing that she could handle this, her throat cleared.

"I came here to get the whole story on how you ended up here!" She barked venomously, jumping to her feet. "I am trying not to make any mistakes as I get Sy back onto the throne that belongs to him! I can't do that if I make the same ones you did." Taken aback by her word, disbelief flashed in his eyes, his eyes narrowing in her direction. Had so many people tricked him that he refused to believe her at all?

"I don't believe you. What do you have against your old man anyway?" He inquired icily, picking her up by her throat. "I ought to kill you right n-" Straightening my back, a determined smile dancing across my defiant face. No one talked to my wife like that, Pumpkin's lips pressing into a thin line.

"Don't you dare you hurt my wife, Alice" I thundered, his brow twitching with irritation. "She is pregnant with my child. She only had to do that because of your r-" Tossing her into my arms, a bitter grimace plastered itself on his face. Marching over to me, he threw down a simple black chair. Sitting me down, his face shifted to a horrifying red leathery mass. Trembling with fear, Pumpkin remained unfazed. Circling us like we were his prey, he pressed his palm against her slight bump. Guilt dimmed his eyes, her death glare staring him down.

"I see that you aren't lying." He admitted sheepishly, his expression softening. "What do you want to know? Oh forgive me, my name is Edward. " Smiling kindly at him, she leapt out of my arms. Embracing him affectionately, tears welled up in his eyes. Burying head into my shoulder, his tears soaked her shoulder. Rubbing his back, she looked so beautiful in this moment.

"I bet it must be hard to be alone." She comforted him sweetly, rocking him back and forth. "I promise to find you a way out once I am in charge. I want to free you. No one deserves to be locked in a cage, at least not here. Now tell me about that day." Taking his hand the castle melted to a scarlet marble throne room, the black velvet throne resting on the other side of the room. A much younger Edward rested on the throne, his feet hanging over the ornate metal arm rests. His scarlet velvet suit shimmered in the orange flames lining the lava rock rivers lining the edge of the room. A cocky Beezlebub stepped into the room, a cloudy orb in his hands. His slicked back hair emphasized his wicked eyes, his black gloved hand tossing the ball into Edward's palm. Beezlebub snapped his fingers, Edward shrinking into the orb. A white energy blasted us back into the future, my fingers wrapping around the clear orb. Everything made sense, the orb decaying into shiny glass dust.

"That orb is the source of his power." She pieced together calmly, letting go of his hand. "If we destroy that, we kill him. Is that correct?" Resting back on his haunches, a bright smile illuminated his face. Tears of joy flooded from his eyes, the room brightening to the scarlet marble throne room. A slight blush rose to my cheeks, my head resting on my hand.

"You picked right up on that." He chuckled softly, drawing a circle underneath us. "You have to go now before you are trapped here too." A black portal swirled underneath us, his hand waving goodbye as the throne room changed the forest. The moonlight bathed the trees, a triumphant grin brightening her face. Dancing around, her fingers intertwined with mine. Pinning me against the rock, the triumphant grin changed to a devilish smile. Pressing her lips against mine hungrily, her hand rubbed my stiffening cock. Unbuttoning my jean's button, her trembling fingers dropping my pants to my feet. Reaching up under her skirt, her underwear dangled off of her ring finger. Sinking down to her knees, a short gasp tumbled from my lips. Sucking the tip, her tongue flickered the sweet spot underneath her head. Writhing under her touch, she placed her finger to her lips. Each passing suck made it harder to stay quiet, her good mood making this session feel extra special. Holding her palm flat, a collar with a chain appeared. Hooking it around her neck, the black chain dripped in between her fingers. A lump formed in my throat, my hand reaching for it reflectively. The last session had hit all of my kinks as well, filthy thoughts floating around my head.

"We don't have to if you don't want to." She whispered shamefully, refusing to look at me. "I don't want to make you uncom-" Taking the chain in my fingers, the power felt so exhilarating. Yanking on the chain, her face was inches from mine. The red coloring of her cheeks told me that I was doing the right thing. Seeing her so turned on caused my breath to be stolen away, this new side of her making her so adorable. Cupping her face, my lips locked with hers lustfully. My fangs sank into her bottom lip, her sweet blood relaxing all of my inhibitions.

"Master, what do you want me to do?" She asked seductively, my hands shoving the leather bar from my brother into her mouth. Tying the ribbons, a wave of relief crashed over me. The truth was that she had been seconds from draining me dry, my brother's gift proving to be handy at the moment. My mind flashed back to when Renkin had looked like he was seventeen and he was cleaning his own bite guard. It was curious how he showed it to me. His hair had been shorter then, his rare act of kindness one of my favorite highlights in my eyes

"This is a bite guard. One day you will find your Alice and do nightly activities." He explained calmly, his black eyes watching me warmly as my fifteen year old looking hands flipping it all about. "She will need it if she is into rough sex. For some reason, that is the only type of sex that wakes up our dark sides. Now go do whatever it is that you do." Snapping fingers brought me back to reality, her eager eyes waiting for what to do. My nerves got the best of me, one of her eyes already going black. Claws grew from her fingernails, my head shaking. Pulling up my pants, we would need more than this to protect me. Lifting up a black silk rope, she put her wrists out.

"Please. I really want this." She pleaded through her bite guard, the rejection in her eyes making it worse. "I am just always so fucking horny. It just isn't fair. I dream about sex in my sleep, and then I wake up and want it all hours of the day. Maybe it is my fucking hormones." Holding her close to my hips, the chilly night air nipped at my cheeks as we landed on the top of the rock. Laying her down gently, my nimble hands tied her wrists together. Her claws receded instantly, the ropes suppressing the urge for them to come out. Smiling warmly up at me, her tired eyes gazed lovingly up at me. Bending her onto the hands and knees, my clothes landed in a pile next to me. Jamming myself in, muffled moans escaped her lips. Grinding her hips against mine, gruff groans tumbled from my lips. Cupping her ass, part of me felt sad that this much protection had to go into this. Bucking my hips to her rhythm, the leather creaked with each hard slap. Sliding my hand up to her tiny bump, pride swelled in me. She was carrying my child, her happy eyes gazing back at me. Flipping me over her head, she sank onto my thick girth. Her breasts bounced up and down, her one black eye returning to normal. Guiding her arms over my head, our bodies pressed against each other. Rolling her over, her silk rope falling off. Raising her finger up, her fingers clawed at the ribbon holding her bite guard. Ripping it off, hot vomit flew up her throat. Blood mixed with breakfast, clammy sweat soaking her skin. Good old morning sickness showing up at the worst time. Pulling on my clothes, her head rested on my lap. Playing with a loose piece of her hair, this moment was just fine. Gazing up at the full moon, shivers shook her body.

"I am sorry." She apologized weakly, wiping the corner of her mouth. "I hate morning sickness. Can we go home to go to bed? I don't feel so good." Passing out in my lap, my strong arms scooped her up. Time to go home. A black bag hung over my head, a needle jamming into my neck. My vision blurred, everything going black.
