Chapter

Aaron was definitely going crazy. Stealing the books? He could get banished from Bluecastle. But he was so fascinated. Aaron started planning. The library was near the middle of Bluecastle, next to the tower that marked the middle of the village. It was not guarded, but the librarian would definitely notice. The village library was the second largest in the continent, before the library of Ironforge. Ironforge is the largest village in all of Parastalla, and it is about four times larger than Bluecastle. Aaron looked around his room for anything that could protect him or help him hide, in case there was any dangers. He planned to go out in the middle of the night, when everyone would be fast asleep. Aaron looked around for anything but couldn't find any weapons or defensive tools.

"Why is there nothing in the house!" He yelled. Ten minutes earlier, his mom had left to a friends house, so Aaron did not have to fear anyone hearing him. "Arghhh!" Aaron slammed his shoulder against the wall, and surprisingly, it broke open. It didn't actually break, the wall just slid open. Aaron stared. Inside the hidden room was boxes of random items. He walked inside, and the door slid closed behind him. All the stuff in the room looked cool, but the item that stuck out the most was a wooden staff on a golden pedestal. Tendrils of wood snaked around the staff, until it reached the top. The wood made an area where it could hold something. In this case, it was a purplish crystal. What was even more strange, the crystal was floating in the middle of the wood holder. Aaron gasped. He knew what this was. Someone had told him about these.

It was a wizard's staff.

Aaron took it and left the room. He was going to steal the books tonight.
