Judgement
The knightess and the princess had never been on the best of terms. But they had met each other on multiple occasions. After all, they were love rivals at one point as well.
Without much thought, Sierra embraced Felicity in a hug. The former princess struggled at first, but eventually, she quietened down as tears continued to flow from her eyes.
"You're safe now, Felicity. You're safe now," Sierra said reassuringly over and over again.
"No one will hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you ever again," she continued to reassure her.
The moment Felicity heard those words, she cried even harder. Sierra draped her jacket over Felicity. Now that they were face to face, Sierra could see all the injuries she had suffered with great clarity.
A blazing fire was beginning to grow inside of her. Eventually, Felicity calmed down. She wanted to tell Sierra something, something important but could not seem to bring herself to do so.
