Sierra looked at them, wide-eyed. She was too stunned to speak. She tried mouthing a reply but no words came forth to her lips. As she began to blush, Sierra looked away from all of them.
"I don't know what y'all heard but I definitely did not say I was jealous."
"Yes! You did! Oh come on, Sierra, don't deny it! What's the use of denying it anyway? It's clear the both of you have a thing for one another," Myra said without skipping a beat.
But her last sentence gave the rest of them pause. Now it was Myra's turn to deny that she had ever spoken those words. Sierra turned back to look at her. With each step she took toward the princess, the princess took a step back.
"What did you say? We have a thing for each other?" Sierra cautiously paraphrased Myra's words.
"You didn't hear it from me!" Myra yelped as she squinted her eyes shut and placed her hands out in front of her.
