Prologue Chapter - Anniversary Reunion

"Alright, why is Sebas so late?" says Kevin as he waits by the abandoned warehouse.

"I even got him a cool gift for it, so I hope he did not forget."

"Hey!!" shouts a voice from behind.

"Oh finally, you're here! And here I was thinking you deserved a knuckle sandwich for forgetting my graduation(college) anniversary." states Kevin, as he turns around to face the oncoming Sebas.

"Sorry man, was caught up in foot traffic, you know how busy Brooklyn can be during vacation time." points out Sebas, as he stops to catch a breath.

"Fine, I guess you've got a point." admits Kevin.

"Anyway, are you ready to check this place out?" asks Kevin, while he turns and starts walking to the warehouse.

"Of course! Then we can exchange gifts right?" confirms Sebas, as he joins Kevin.

"Yeah, yeah, just don't put your carriage before the horse, after all this place might not be safe enough to relax in." agrees Kevin as they reach the door.

"Ok, here we go." says Kevin, as he pulls a crowbar out of his suitcase.

"Ker-Klunk" the door went, as the locks were broken off by the crowbar.

"Alright, it's open," says Kevin.

The boys start looking around the warehouse, making sure that there are no radioactive or harmful substances or items in the way of using the place as a spot to begin their anniversary.

– 1 hour later –

"Ok, we are good to begin the traditions." states Kevin, as he plops down on the floor criss-cross applesauce.

"Cool man. So what'd you get me?" asks Sebas, as he proceeds to also sit down in the middle of the warehouse.

"Well, I figured because you took the time to listen to me ramble about my favorite character, I would give you his costume." answers Kevin, as he grabs from his suitcase a lean box and places it in front of Sebas.

"Oh wow, thanks man, this'll be a nice alternative to wear during Halloween and at conventions." says Sebas, as he gratefully moves the box over to his suitcase.

"Now, here's my gift. I know you've been extensively looking for it, and I found one at a cheaper price overseas." Sebas tells Kevin, reaching for a smaller box in his own suitcase.

After opening it, Kevin shouts, "An accurate replica of the Boosted Gear! Sebas, you've truly out-done yourself this year."

"Of course man, even though we are cousins, we are basically brothers with how we've helped each other throughout the years." responds Sebas, as he proceeds to hug Kevin, elated that his gift was well received.

They then went on to bring out multiple snacks and drinks(non-alcoholic) to enjoy the night sky with as they tinkered with their gifts, sang songs, and other such activities.

"Welp, I think we are done for the night." says Kevin, moving to start packing up his things.

"Yeah, I agree. I've got an exam in two days, so I gotta start studying once I get back." agrees Sebas.

"Bwoo-shorp", a sound that rings out from the front gate of the warehouse, as a giant green pipe suddenly appears in front of them. It begins sucking them in, like a black hole.

"What!! Why is there a green pipe there?!" asks Kevin, as he gets lifted off his feet.

"I don't know, but it's dragging us inside similarly to a vortex or something!" responds Sebas, as he too is lifted in the air.

"AAAHHH!!!", they both shout, as they are sucked into the pipe.
