Chapter 1: Date

The Jade Empire was considered as the No. 1 in the Field of Health. They always do a successful event. They never fail to amaze their Customers.

Of course, a Successful Empire is lead by a Successful Person, they call her Madam.

"Madam Meizhen."

"Yes?"she asked with a cold voice. Even though she was the CEO of a Successful Empire that doesn't mean she's supposed to be nice and kind right?

She was wearing a red top and a black pencil skirt with a Blazer hanging on her shoulders while she was checking on some documents and signing them.

"President Xi is waiting for you in the meeting room."her assistant said politely.

Meizhen stopped what she was doing. President Xi? Isn't he done with me already? She sighed and fixed her attire before standing up and walking towards the waiting room.

She saw the old man sitting with his legs crossed while drinking wine. Meizhen went to the tall window to view the scenery.

"What do you want old man?"she asked.

"Hahahahha. Still the same Meizhen huh? Acting like the almighty CEO of the Jade Empire?"he mockingly asked.

Meizhen smiled after hearing the old man's words. She took a glass of wine and drank a bit as she sat down infront of the old man.

"What do you want from me this time, President Xi?"she mockingly responded making the old man laugh.

"As the CEO of the Jade Empire aren't you afraid of it's future? Being all alone to rule it and not having a King at all?"he started making his point as Meizhen understood already what he meant.

"I won't be settling for an old man like you, President Xi."she straighforwardedly said.

President Xi laughed again." You have a great humor, Ms. Xiao. But I'm not talking about myself, I also don't want to settle with a cold creature like you."

"Then, who do you suggest?"

"Yuan Xi, my 4th Grandson. I'm sure you know him don't you? He's pretty known as an ungrateful child."he suggested.

"Why suggest a person you know that has an unlikable background?"she interestedly asked.

President Xi smiled before answering."He maybe not to your liking but I believe you two fit well for each other."

"And when did the President of Jie Xi become a cupid?"she laughed. Even though she was cold and unapproachable to other people she was still a person who has feelings. Presidential Xi was always one of the people whom she treated as family.

"Ever since you became 21?"he raised his eyebrow and winked at the young lady infront of him.

"Tss. Stop making it sound like I'm really old."she said coldly.

"Just try to get to know my grandson, I'll arrange a dinner date for you two okay? You better attend."the old man reminded.

Meizhen just nodded and went back on to her documents.

President Xi sighed as he walked out of the waiting room. All he wanted was for Meizhen to be a happy girl and he believes, Yuan Xi is the one that can do that.
