“Should we go down there?” Galen asked.
Dion chuckled. “Never thought I would ever hear something like that coming out of an angel’s mouth, but I believe we should. Can you pull that off?”
Galen nodded, and he was about to call upon his angelic magic to open a doorway into the realm between the mortal plane and the underworld when he abruptly thought of something crucial.
“Hold on!”
“What?”
“What if this whole thing is a trap?”
Dion shrugged. “That same thought had crossed my mind a few minutes ago, but we don’t have a choice. Regardless what the outcome of this upcoming trip turns out to be, I refuse to constantly worry about being attacked by this ancient demon. I don’t want to watch over my back every single second of the day.”
