Scandalous Act

After the meeting between the Williams and the James' families. Both family had agreed to intimate their children about the development. James and Rosalie after heading back asked one of their maid Josh of the whereabouts of Oliver. But he replied that the young James hasn't return since he left home in the morning. "Okayyyy" Rosalie said with a sacarstic tone. "You can go for now" James said to Josh.

James quickly stood up from where he was seated and joined Rosalie on the couch. " You must speak sense into your son woman! I need results. I can't put everyone at stake. After all it's just a marriage and Charlotte is quite a nice young woman who will make our son happy irrespective of our alliance." He said holding Rosalie's hands.

" He is not my son alone" Rosalie replied taking off James'hand from hers.

" You have turned me into a monster and a heartless mother in the presence of my child while you hide in the shadows like an angel to take the glory of the good father" she said as she gently raised the glass of wine to her mouth. " Anyways make sure you succeed in convincing him else.....he growled as he raised his eyebrows towards her. " Or else what James? Again with the threats? I ain't sacred of your threat one bit I assure you." Rosalie replied with a furious voice and her face looked so red with veins.

Rosalie and James are very much in Love with one another just like any normal couple would. But an event happened that threatened their peace and puts their love to test. One morning, James packed up and told Rosalie he was traveling for a business trip to Kuwait which is an Arab country known for its oil wealth. But unfortunately he was lying. It was actually a three days trip to Maldives with his mistress.

Jennifer was one of James girlfriend since his college days. They had been away for about thirty years. All of a sudden she surfaced in America. James bumped into her in a hotel lobby in New York after he was about to leave. "James! Oh my Gosh! I can't believe this is you?" She said screening his looks with her eyes as if she was telling herself now I have found a gold fish in the river. " This is me Jello!" He replied with caution. Jennifer is a very seductive woman.

Even at her age she has manage to keep herself so young and attractive. " As you can see I was on my way out, I have to catch up with some clients at the office. But here is my card, you can call me. It was really nice meeting you again Jello" he said an left eagerly. James was seated at the back while the chauffeur rode and memories of his relationship with Jennifer kept flashing before hIs eyes and he smiled to himself. For the first time James had really no intention whatsoever to be unfaithful to Rosalie.

But Jennifer found her way through his heart with her seductive moves. They met occasionally at the hotel while he gave several excuses to Rosalie for being late at home or for traveling. She never doubted him because he had never given her the reason to and of course he was faithful untill this very moment.

After James left for the said trip, Rosalie called at the company as she always did to see how things were. She instructed the company's secretary to clean James' office that she was coming over which she did. Rosalie arrived at the office and entered James'office, she sat on the chair and turned on the computer. Some emails popped in and she decided to check them.

To her greatest shock it was an email for an hotel reservations for two made by James. The email read "Hello! The reservation for Mr. and Mrs. James in the Atlantis Hotel, Maldives is booked in the names forwarded. The room number is 202. Our drivers would pick you up at the airport. We can't wait to have you as we have alot of surprises for your anniversary. Thanks."

Rosalie couldn't believe her eyes as she was trembling and broke down with tears gushing through her eyes as she read the mail. " James I can't believe you lied to me, you cheater!" She said to herself . She couldn't control her emotions and left in tears. She ignored the secretary even when she offered to comfort her and walked away. All the employees were shocked to see the boss's wife leave in that condition.

James was careless to the feelings of Rosalie. He never taught of how is action would have hurt her. She got into her car and sped off, she almost had an accident on the road but quickly parked by a park near the road to cool off.

James returned from his so called business and looked very happy after his escapade with his mistress. As soon as he reached home he climbed up stairs to their room. Rosalie already saw him throw the window blinds before he entered the Mansion.

The happiness she saw on his face mocked her and made her aggressive the more. " Son of a bitch" she whispered. James entered the room and hugged her tightly and said with a blushing face " I am back baby and I missed you so much." She pushed him away aggressively that he almost fell on the chair near the bed. "What the hell? What's wrong with you?" He asked in shock. " Shut your stinky mouth you liar. How dare you cheat on me James. Is this what I am worth to you? You cheated on me with a low life prostitute. Unbelievable!" She growled with a dangerous look on her face. James' face immediately went pale and it felt as if his heart is in his mouth. He was shocked on her discovery and how Rosalind found out about the scandalous act. He fell on his knees," I am sorry darling, I can explain. It's not what you think." He said with tears of regret rolling down his eyes. " Save your damn explanation to your computer and mistress." She said as she turned to him in a fit of rage.

Rosalie bursted into tears with her eyes so red like the blood moon. Her line on her veins can be seen all over her face as she cries and was sobbing with mucus coming out of her nose and mouth. " I am leaving you for good and never come looking for me. I am dead to you henceforth." Rosalie grabbed her box and was held back by James when she was about to open the door. " I am sorry". He was trembling and couldn't control his emotions either. " Let go James, I am done".

Luckily for him, Oliver got home and heard noises upstairs, he realized his parents were the ones having an argument. He threw his suit case and hit a vase in confusion. He ran upstairs and said " What's happening Mom? Why are you both like this?" " You father cheated on me with his mistress". " What Dad? What is Mom saying?

There must be a misunderstanding somewhere okay" he said to his Mom. He took his Mom to another room to calm her down. He returned to his Dad and said," I can't believe this Dad, Mom has been loyal to you for 30years and just now this is all you can repay her with?" " I am sorry Oliver, I don't know what came over me. Please forgive me. I hope your Mom forgives me too ". He begged. " it's fine Dad,you should have thought of this before you cheated on her. I will go talk to her." He said angrily. James was full of regret and promised himself never to cheat on his wife. He cut all ties with Jennifer. But Rosalie is still not finding it easy to forgive and forget the fact that James cheated on her.
