"Seems like his limbs are disintegrating. There is nothing more to do."
Viego lifted his hand signaling to deactivate his Aeon acclimation.
But he stopped midway, for it was something he didn't know was possible, something he didn't see in the shadows. From the rubble emerged a bloodlust, seeking not only his life but the lives of billions, it wasn't a normal bellicosity that a person emits during a fight. It was not a battle cry, marking the approach of a soldier's wrath. Nay… it was the will whistle of death for every single living creature living on the planet.
Every single living being on the planet trembled. Trees dropped their leaves and fruit, the crops lost their seeds, and the animals looked up in the direction of Nautilus. Every single human on the planet shook in fear, for the thing that had just been released, was going to end them all. People scrambled in fear and darkness as the Aeon marched, the Aeon of death had been revived.
A man in black armor and long hair raised his head from the ground and looked into the distant night sky.
"Time to deal with him."
I stood there, in the darkness, still with chains around me, the inability to control my body. I sat there doing nothing, soaking up the chilling sounds that could be heard outside.
My body was doing something that wasn't right, something that wasn't me but yet… somehow deep down, I felt that I had freedom.
"Ya are one nasty motherfucker," Viego remarked and spat on the floor.
Before Viego could even utter the next words. A blade went inside his stomach and extended in all directions, forming a black square of emptiness. Crushing Viego's body into paste. Viego's organs and bones were pressed out from the sides, blood running down from the cube. The blood burned and Viego reformed on the floor.
Before he could regain his step a blade, a cold murky blade of ooze went through his throat, slicing upwards, his two brain halves fell to the ground with his tongue sticking out.
His body burned again… and again… nothing was stopping the massacre.
9…8…7…6..5..4..3..2
Viego crawled on the bones trying to get away from the relentless mutilation of his body. The second last life before he would die for real. It was the body of Hectima, the last life. Viego tried to crawl away on his last remaining life but his crawling stopped when he got the body.
"Move! Stupid legs."
Viego at that moment felt a despair he hadn't felt throughout his life. It was a feeling that couldn't be explained with words because what he was feeling was the fear of the thing in front of him. It was no human it was no person it was no animal, it was a god.
"I will give you a minute to think about what situation you are in right now," I said smirking.
Viego turned his head, trying to flee, but brutally repressed by something inside him.
"Don't you hear his voice?"
Viego's body started to move towards me.
"You heard it, didn't you? The voice of Hectima. The brave Aeon of Ember that created this city."
I stood silently there as Viego's body moved against his will towards me. He readied his fire spear and threw it at me. Blocking it with an ooze wall, Viego jumped above me. Hearing a whistling sound, it swooped down and cut my body in half.
"Too bad this is only a fraction of hero Hectima's strength, how disappointing."
My two body halves fused and a spike impaled the skull of Viego. His body disintegrated and now he was on his last life. If he died now it would mean game over for real. Viego now has full control of his body. Ran for his life. Running in the opposite direction as me.
"Abandoning your pride?"
A knife flew into his knee and he tripped over. I slowly approached him with heavy steps. The sounds of cracking bones echoed through the corridor as you could hear Viego dragging his heavy body across the bones. Another black knife flew into his other knee but he took his arms and scraped his body forward.
"If you had not done what you did today, you may have survived today."
Viego smirked before reaching out his arm.
A blade cut his arm off and it rolled off. Spraying blood all over the place.
"This is the end for you Aeon of Ember, see you later in the Aeonic realm."
Heavy grunting could be heard as Viego bit down into one of the pieces of bone on the ground before forwarding it away.
Everything turned dark, it was empty, and I was floating in space. Then just white the only thing I could see was just white. It then suddenly turned red and then black again.
My body was no longer in existence.
Laying in the waters of Nautilus, the waves pushed Viego onto the shore.
Breathing heavily and heart racing, Viego looked at his arm that had been sliced off and laughed. If I hadn't thrown that piece of bone at my dismembered arm, then it would have never crossed the border.
"The last ace card in my acclimation… " Viego let out a huge sigh of relief before closing his eyes.
Viego's second Aeon Acclimation puts you in a one-versus-one arena in which Viego has 300 lives, made up of all the previous Aeon of Embers. But there is an ace so powerful that guarantees victory. It is the exit of the acclimation itself. If Viego decides to close the acclimation by walking out of range of the domain, Viego's body is moved out of the dimension. The person inside is centralized amidst a supernova explosion. The whole dimension releases a force comparable to a star's death so-called supernova. Temperatures can reach as much as one billion degrees Celsius which disintegrates anything that it touches. Even if the thing doesn't burn out, the mass of this explosion pulls the person in and crushes them into hydrogen and helium.
Even for an Aeon of Vivshi's caliber, he isn't surviving a supernova blast.
Viego reopens his eyes and chuckles before looking up into the night sky.
"You killed him."
?
Viego twisted his head in fear as it twitched. Under the moonlight, Aylin stood there with her hands clutched together. Her dress was all dirty and ripped from the fight.
"How dare you…"
Viego lay there hoping that it was just a random girl that is traumatized from the explosion.
His chuckles stopped as he saw the luminance coming from her cheek, a bright pink glow that shone in the night.
"AUFWACHEN, ACCLIMATION." Aylin stomped her feet and put her hands on her face as she started crying. She then started to yell at Viego for committing crimes before telling him that he would pay for his transgressions.
A church could be seen behind Aylin. Viego lay there in fear, saying nothing.
"Reawaken Vivshi, for my desire is for you to see life again."
