New weapon

"Aylin, could you perhaps teleport someone out of their free will to a certain location?"

Aylin sat there quietly, pondering my question before giving me an answer. She said that she could do that pretty easily with normal items and animals but when it comes to sentient stuff, it requires their permission to move them. 

"What's wrong Vivshi? You look disappointed."

"Well, I just thought we could bring Emovi here with your ability."

"Well, then we would need her permission to do so."

Aylin told me that her Aeonic powers were running low and that had to recharge. So the day after, we tried. 

The pink mark on her cheek glowed and then…

"With this wish, I bring forth Emovi."

There was a long pause, the anticipation grew as I thought I saw Emovi but it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

"Odd, it seems like Emovi refused to be teleported."

"Well, at least we tried that."

Aylin apologized that she couldn't do more than that. I then told her about Devina and where she was. But I kept the sources of the info hidden. 

"Aylin, would it be possible for you to teleport us to Dragonspine or Aridune?"

"Well, it could be possible, it isn't that far away, so I think I would be able to do it. But… there is a slight problem, when I teleport, I have no power over where it teleports me, it just teleports me somewhere near the destination I want."

"So it could get a little dangerous?"

"Basically yeah."

My weapon had recently been destroyed by Zerstörer and I was weaponless. I had to go get a new one.

With the remaining money I earned from selling meth, I went to the mineral store and bought some carpinite. It was around 4 kg. I then asked Aylin if we could make a quick trip to Mondlicht first. 

She agreed and with her remaining Aeonic powers she grants one last wish before it empties. 

After we arrived at Mondlicht we headed immediately to Pikola's shop. When we entered we heard a grunt from behind the counter.

A manly voice yelled out.

"Sorry, but we are closing now."

Then he looked up from his workbench to see who it was.

"IT IS YOU! You with the carpinite!"

"Hi!"

Aylin giggled seeing his reaction.

"What fun thing do you get in store for me today?" Pikola asked eagerly.

Well, I took out something heavy wrapped in cloth and handed it over to him.

"How about this."

Pikola dropped it on his counter and took out the stone.

"ANOTHER PIECE OF CARPINITE??? Where in the world did you get this?"

"These types of stuff cost like crazy, rarely discovered here. And this piece you have weighs like 4 kg."

I asked him what he could do with it and how much it would cost.

He pondered for a while before asking me if I wanted something similar to the first weapon I had. Then he asked if he could borrow it as a reference.

There was an awkward silence, I looked away from him and started looking around his shop.

"Hey! Don't ignore me when I'm talking with you! Don't tell me…"

"Uhmmm."

He sighed and sat down on his chair, "my baby, my sweet baby."

I apologized for breaking his weapon but then he stood up and looked at the piece of carpinite he had. 

"Okay, no matter, I have a new piece and that means new ideas. So Vivshi what type of weapon are you looking for?"

I thought long and hard, I wanted something that I could control and something that would not break. 

After hearing my request he told me he would just need a little bit of money to buy some material, but he wouldn't charge for the labor because it was something he wanted to do.

So I gave him 10000 Livis and he just looked at me with an open mouth.

"You could buy the entire store with this…"

"Wait, you need more money to buy the stuff?"

He shook his head and told me that he was fine. He then took the money and told me to come back in 3 days.

Emovi's curse had less than 3 weeks left so we had plenty of time. And just as a finishing touch, he asked me for some blood again. But this time he also requested Aylin's blood.

"Why me though? What would you use my blood for?"

I looked at Pikola with a raised eyebrow, but he just winked at me.

"Aylin, can you please?"

"If you insist…"

He took 1 deciliter of our blood and told us we could return in 3 days.

And Aylin used those three days to have fun in Mondlicht. We went shopping for other stuff and ate good food. And we tried to recharge her Aeonic powers as much as possible.

After three days had passed, we returned to the shop and Pikola had something covered by a thin blanket. 

"Let me hereby proudly pronounce the creation of… The Duality."

He lifted the blanket and there supported by a stand laid a long katana with something weird along the back of the katana, it was pinkish and the tip was like a sphere instead of sharp. 

He took it up with both hands and handed it over to me.

I gracefully picked it up with both hands and inspected the blade. It was beautiful, there were blue dots on the edge of the blade. The handle was somewhat weird, there was like a weird feeling to it.

"I'm sure I don't need to explain much because it is already bound to your soul, you should already know how to use it," Pikola said.
