Wolves

Clyde and Stephan Chase were the two infamous wolf brothers in Bayview Highschool. They were probably the only people who didn't conceal their wolf identity from the public. Even with reputation, no one had ever crossed them, but for some reason they'd appeared out of the blue and had kidnapped the two siblings.

"What do you think you're doing? Put me down!" Eddie protested the moment he was lifted from the floor, and onto a stiff shoulder. His ride wasn't a very smooth one.

"Stephan, Clyde?" Jade called out the moment they were dropped down. They were now in the thicker parts of the forest, and neither of them had any idea regarding why the brothers had kidnapped them.

"Witches?" Clyde was the first to comment, "I could swear I smelt wolf" He argued.

Stephan was clearly shocked too, he too had smelt a wolf, and not just any wolf, it was a pack mate. He recognized these two from school, and he was sure they were witches, so how on earth did they smell so similar to wolves, or at least one of them smelt like a wolf. He was unsure of who it was, so he and Clyde had decided to just nab the two.

"Sorry to disappoint, but neither of us is a werewolf " Jade clarified, however the two boys before her didn't seem to believe her, they had began sniffing both her and Eddie. She felt extremely uncomfortable, but she didn't complain. She instead used the time that was spent on her to cast a concealment spell on Eddie.

"They're not wolves" Clyde stated disappointedly.

Eddie was a bit skeptical about his wolf side being concealed, but Ashley didn't give him much of a chance to air his opinion. This was his opportunity to finally connect with those who were like bim. He wasn't ashamed of being a wolf, he loved it when he transforms, and he loved the strength that his wolf offered him.

"We should get back to where we came from, mom will be worried" Jade announced to her brother who clearly hadn't understood the risks of being discovered as a wolf. She understood he would be naturally attracted to people like him, and she didn't blame him for almost ratting himself out to them.

Jade was annoyed because Eddie hasn't grasped the kind of situation the wolves were in at the moment. They were being slaughtered like animals, and the few that remained were in hiding. Once Eddie's identity as a wolf becomes a public news, he'll constantly have a target on his back. He would be hunted by other wolves who would want him to enter their pack in order to strengthen it, and he will be hunted by vampires who will want to kill him.

Witches were no exceptions either, he'd make a great research material for a coven. Wolves were rare to see these days, so anyone found would instantly become a lab rat. Jade wanted no such life for her brother. They were already involved in a vampire mess at the moment, and she wasn't ready to get caught up in a wolf matter too. Concealing his wolf scent and keeping him from talking was the best option for now.

"You two where on earth did you wander off to again?" Katherine asked the two figures who just emerged from the forest.

"Wolves, we got kidnapped by wolves" Eddie revealed before Jade could make up a lie. He was still excited about meeting his kind.

"Wolves?" Katherine enunciated with a. widened eyes.

"Yes" Jade confirmed. Katherine's eyes traveled towards Eddie's figure and her heart skipped the instant she laid eyes on him. His pupils had turned red for a moment, and had reverted back to normal in the same moment.

Katherine could already tell what was going on, his vampire side was trying to force itself out, but Eddie's dominant wolf wasn't letting go of control. She knew the time to tell Eddie the whole truth was nearing quickly, and she was still afraid of the truth..

"What did the wolves want?" Katherine was quick to silence the inquisitive vampire beside her. She had almost forgotten to discipline the man beside her. She might have snapped his neck, or impaled him to a tree until sunrise, but she didn't do that all because of the boy he carried.

Katherine muttered no spells, but in the next instant she had teleported herself and her children back home. "What did the wolves want?" She asked immediately they arrived home, away from the intruding ears of the vampire. She had no interest in letting an outside know about her family businesses, especially not a vampire.

Aside from keeping their family affairs a secret, Katherine was worried about another thing. She was scared the wolves were here to take her son away from her. She knew at some point he was going to allow him to find and be with his people, but she feared for him greatly . He wasn't like the rest and they might not accept him. If anybody found out about what he really was, he might become a target for the entire factions.

"They thought one of us was a wolf, but we managed to fool them" Jade answered, and Katherine was relieved.

Eddie didn't pay much attention to the conversation going on between her mother and sister. His head was burning, and he could barely stand up. It was just like the sensation he felt after fighting Stewie, only worse.

The other two had realized Eddie's condition, and they'd rushed to the side of the curled boy who was visibly trying to restrict himself from screaming.

"What's going on with him mom? His eyes, why do they do look so much like that of a.." Jade hesitated to choose her words correctly, "why do they look like a vampire's?"
