Odd Interaction

"This?" Alex asked as he pointed towards his pupils that contained a cyan flame in them. The woman shook her head before pointing to his sword.

"How did you intervene in our fight?" She asked, narrowing her eyes to slits. She'd fought many experienced fights that had previously been professionals in the realm of combat, but it was her first time being interrupted by a mere boy and being injured by a single slash.

Even the first tutorial hadn't posed such difficulty, which truly confused her.

Alex shrugged at that question, casting a glance at Durendal before facing the woman once again. "Dumb luck, I guess. Well, considering you got flung backwards by just that, you seem to be pretty weak."

Silence descended atop the area as the soldiers shivered in fear of the woman's next move. Alex clenched his fist at having delivered a jab at the woman's ego, even if the insult was utter trash.
