"A grade 9 beast," muttered Sarah. Her eyes shone, and an inexplicable sense of competitiveness washed over her. She turned around to face Naheer, who'd grown enough to almost hide his entire presence from her.
Unfortunately, her path of power and legacy were too powerful, allowing her to sense the assassin. However, that wasn't the case with his victims, who fell like flies when he went on a rampage.
Sarah and Naheer had grown closer and had become comrades in arms. The former focused on warrior-like abilities that contained the enhancement of her movements, while the latter focused on concealment abilities and abilities to commit espionage smoothly.
"Alex and the others should be heading there," muttered Naheer, revealing his presence enough to allow Sarah to sense the excitement he exuded.
"You're excited too," Sarah let out a toothy grin. "I've been waiting to try out my legacy."
