Chapter 25

Hera's P.O.V.

Lilith had told me that my soulmate was a wolf just like hers when I was a teenage girl. That was so long ago, that I completely forgot about it until that night that Jason walked into the bar. From the moment I saw him, I knew he was for me. He was 6'5, slim but muscular with long straight blonde hair down to the middle of his back with beautiful grey eyes, and a beard. I couldn't help but feel like he resembled a Viking Lilith and I used to trade with in Greenland so long ago. I kept my distance because I didn't think he would want an Amazonian for his wife. So I waited for him to reject me until Thursday afternoon.

"I know your friend Jason is my soulmate." I said to Gary. He looked at me and smiled. We came back from their pack's house after collecting some clothes for the new boys that arrived.

"Give me your phone. I will put his number in." Gary said to me. I handed him my phone and he put Jason's number in. We continued to separate everything so we could organize them. I contemplated on texting him until I did.

"Who's this?" he responded.

"Hera." I said to him. From there, we continued to conversate. Lilith taught me magic so I casted spells on the clothes to fit the boys. Lilith was on her way back to the building to get the boys and take them to her condo. She wasn't living there so it was a good place to put them since she casted invisibility spells on that space.

Lilith dropped off the new clothes for Miguel and then we took the boys shopping for groceries. They had never been to a big city let alone a grocery store. They were used to hunting and surviving without the things most humans take for granted.

"I will have Cake teach them how to use technology on Saturday afternoon. She told me she was free." Lilith told me as we followed the boys around the supermarket. When we were done, we took them to the condo.

I had been training to be a warrior since I was two years old. When the Golden Wolves attacked, I was seven years old. My mother and aunts hid me in the jungle, that's why I survived. The next day, I met Lilith while I was walking along the river looking for food. We have been together since.

We had time periods where I went out into the world but we would always come back together. She was my sister, and I loved and protected her.

The night of their bachelorette and bachelor parties, Jason was mad at me for wearing such a sexual outfit. He was very protective of me. The only men I was used to being that way towards us were the friends we made along our journey together. Lilith has brought a lot of peace to the different communities throughout the centuries with me along her side.

"I'm dress like this for you. I mean you are always seeing me in jeans and a t-shirt. I wanted to look beautiful for you." I said to Jason via mind link. Watching as Lilith twerked on me made him more jealous. We knew those rogue wolves were surrounding us. We were ready to fight if they tried anything. But Miguel was too jealous to let us stand our own ground.

"You were bitten by a vampire before?" Jason asked me as he kissed my neck. I watched him fuck Sophia into a coma before I decided to undress. The way his body was chiseled, it was so perfect, I wanted to touch him. His manhood was long, and thick. He had shaved his beard so he just had a thin mustache.

"It happened a few months before the Golden Wolves attacked. I was training to do night patrol when they attacked us. There were so many of those stupid vampires but we beat them." "You sure you are ready for me?" Jason said as he laid me down on the bed. I was nervous but I wanted him.

"Yes."

For the first time in my life, I felt a bit insecure about them. But he kissed them gently. I saw the scars he had on his body but they looked so beautiful on him.

When I woke up, Sophia was up and ready to go. She was a nice girl and I gave her the money Jason left on the dresser for her services. I gave her my business card for future arrangements. She was so happy as I walked her to her car.

From there, I opened a portal to my apartment in Manhattan. The ladies at the shelter had the day to relax. A lot of them leave New York and travel the world and some stay here or go to other states. We usually let them have the weekends to do what they need to with their children or themselves. Sunday Lilith teaches different style of dance classes so they can learn to love themselves.

I felt the pain of the night hit me as I get into the hot shower. The memories of our passionate encounters made me smile. I wanted to go back to him and do it again. But I know that our bond is more than that. It's just that wolves are known to be very sexual but not as sexual as dragons. They are on a whole different level of sexual. "I miss him." I said to myself.

"I miss you too." I heard Jason say through a mind link. I couldn't help but smile.

"What are you doing beautiful?" Jason asked me.

"Taking a shower." I said to him.

"I wish I was there. Are you coming back? Lilith needs her best friend. Gary tries but bless his heart. He can't keep up with our Luna like you." Jason said.

"You just want to see me again." I said to him. I continued to wash my body.

"Yes. I wanna cuddle with my Goddess." He said.

"Let me check if I have anything to do after I check on the club and I will see if I can stop by."

"You should stay for a few days, maybe forever." He said. I couldn't help but smile. I walk out of the bathroom and head into my room to pick out an outfit. I go to my girly side of my closet to find a pair of jeans that fit my butt just right and a blue shirt that showed off my breasts.

I opened a portal to the club to find Lollipop taking care of the bar. She was a beautiful succubus that found her way to us at the beginning when we opened the club. She was one of Lilith's many half human siblings. But her mother was killed so she was running away from the men that wanted to capture her to sell her in a brothel.

After a few years, Lollipop and I became lovers. But I never felt jealous when she jumped from lover to lover. That was her nature, I understood this. When a human woman mates with the King of the Fae, the woman gives birth to a succubus or incubus. I give Lollipop a hug before heading to Lilith's office. Since we only serve the absinthe that she makes, the only bills we really had to pay were the utilities and our workers. Some nights, the girls don't make a lot of money so Lilith would pay them for showing up at least.

"They are my family. They were her half siblings and I'm their older sister. I have to look out for them even if my dad doesn't." Lilith always told me.

"I have to go be with Lilith. Her ceremony is tomorrow." I said to Lollipop.

"Are we really about to close the bar down? It's been open for so long." Lollipop said.

"Yes. Lilith wants you and JoJo to come. You guys are her siblings." I said to her.

"True. She is our big sister."

"I left everything on her desk. Just lock up when you are ready to leave." I said to her before opening a portal.

I ended up in Jason's room. I walk in to find him working at his desk. He immediately got up to give me a kiss. I was usually bending down to kiss women, it felt different to have a lover taller than me.

"Where is my sister?" I asked him.

"At the single women's building showing the women how she does her strip dances. She is driving Miguel crazy." Jason said to me.

"Let me go check on her. Can you please take me?" I said to him. I wanted to hold his hand on the way.

It didn't take us long to get to this old Victorian building where the single women lived. I knew Lilith planned to build them a bigger, more spacious one soon. I let Jason lead me by the hand as we walk into the recreational room. Lilith managed to make a pole grow out of the floor so she could show the women her skills. The song "Possession" by Sarah McLachlan was blasting through some speakers.

I joined the group that consist of Cakes, Gloria, and Taylor as we all watched Lilith move her body in a sensual and beautiful way on the pole. Miguel was going crazy; we could all smell his arousal. It was funny because he was trying to act like it wasn't affecting him. He stood there with a stern look on his face. She was dancing in a pair of white shorts with a black tube top on and no shoes.

When the song finished, everyone started clapping loud. Miguel walked over to her and kissed her passionately. Then Jason pulled me close for a kiss.

"My little sister finally found her mate." Lilith said with a big smile. I couldn't help but blush as she walked over to me and jumped into my arms.

"Why are you torturing that poor man? Didn't you do enough this morning?" I said to her as I laid my forehead on hers. We both smiled as we gave each other a skimo kiss.

"Can I have my wife?" Miguel said to me as he put his arms up. I passed her over to him.

"I'm going to be teaching the class tomorrow morning so if anyone is interested, I will be here at 10 am." Lilith said as she made the pole disappear back into the ground. The floor healing itself like there was nothing there.

"Did I take you away from your work?" I asked Jason.

"No, I was just finishing the work schedule for the following week for me and Miguel." He said before giving me a kiss. We started to walk back to the main building.

We watched as Miguel used his flash step to reach the building first. He was carrying Lilith on his shoulder. She was giggling like a little girl. It was nice to finally see her happy with her mate. I feel Jason squeeze my hand as we follow them into the building.

Jason leads me into his room. I sit down on his King size bed and watch him move around cleaning up his room. I couldn't help but laugh. It was adorable.

"Sorry about the mess. I was looking for something after you left." Jason said as he goes to his dresser and pulls out something. Then he stands in front of me and shows me a black box.

"I wanted to give you this last night but I kind of misplaced it." He said smiling. Then he opened it to show me a gold engagement ring with sapphires around it. I flashed a big smile.

"Will you become my wife?" Jason asked me as he got down on one knee.

"Yes." I said to him. He pulled the ring from the box and slid it on my finger. I pulled him to kiss him.

"Congratulations!" Lilith screamed in my head. She is always ten steps ahead of us but I loved her for always knowing.
