A disc appeared and hovered between them. They jumped onto it and hovered for a moment. The disc rose into the sky and sped towards the direction of Akiol and Travis.

"Hold on dear viewers, we're going to get you a sky high view!"

-What kind of mount is that??

Akiol took up a different stance. Without his arm he would need to adjust his fighting style.

Travis had a different reaction, despite his strength, despite him removing an arm, despite his overwhelming advantage, this guy was looking at him calmly!

He had gained this level of strength through sheer will! Time and time again he broke through the limits that once constrained him, through his efforts he got this far! He would not fall to Akiol! Not at his strongest!

His eyes stung as [Truth Threefold: Revealing] ended. Clenching his jaw he bent his knees.

Cracks spread across the ground, in a grandeur showcase of strength. Travis steadied his heart, he will finish this opponent just like all the others!

Bang-!

The ground shattered as they took off. Streaks of black and white spiraled behind Travis as he moved. A silver Aura with speckles of Red, Blue, and Purple. Akiol's Aura gained a small boost when he linked with Mira. Adding more color to it. Showing that he indeed chose the links as the catalyst for his growth!

The colorful lines intersected as they dashed across the forest. A shower of sparks would form every time their paths met.

B-DOOM!

Travis grit his teeth, he needed to go faster!

Fuzzy forms of afterimages formed as Travis doubled his effort into speed. Akiol watched in interest as several more afterimages began to follow. Although they weren't solid, it was a good showcase of Travis' pure speed.

{Expeditious Steps}!

Akiol vanished, he nearly doubled the afterimages Travis had with his own! Stopping in his tracks Travis turned and swung both his swords to the side.

Cr-twang~!

His swords bounced off Akiol's sword, yet he didn't grow discouraged. Instead he threw an additional three attacks. A diagonal double swing, a cross horizontal one, and a downwards double attack.

Akiol stepped to the side and dodged the first attack. Ducked under the second. And deflected the third!

With his momentum interrupted Travis stepped back, Akiol pushed forward with a thrust aimed towards Travis' throat!

Teleporting behind Akiol, Travis swung towards Akiol's waist. Aiming to split the slime in half.

Back flipping over the attack Akiol kicked the top of Travis' head. The blow made him lean forward, yet Travis maintained the movement. Rolling onto his back he pointed an empty palm and Lumen forward.

A high pitched sound entered their ears as the swirling blast shot forward. Akiol responded with a wave of Aura. The two energies clashed, but Akiol's Aura defense was fading fast!

"Uh oh!"

Akiol changed the grip on Stars and positioned himself to guard. His Aura defense flickered out and the beam slammed into him. He was pushed into the air as the beam progressed. Managing to prevent himself from being harmed by the beam.

The beam faded and Akiol flipped to safety. The moment he landed three dark crescent attacks curved through the air towards him. Akiol threw Stars to the side, Aura encompassing the blade. Stars rotated and moved forward, acting like a boomerang.

Dodging the first two attacks Akiol reached his hand out and increased the Aura in it. Grabbing the final attack he promptly crushed it, shattering it to pieces of Abyssal Energy.

Travis saw the weapon and lifted his sword to block. The throw was empowered by Aura and was a lot stronger than he anticipated!

His arm bent as the sword bounced off his defenses. The moment it did Akiol appeared in front of him, "You're open."

Wham!

Akiol's fist slipped through Travis' guard and landed directly on his face. His mask shattered and faded, returning to the mark on his palm.

Travis tumbled across the ground before stabbing Abe into the dirt to slow himself. Akiol picked up Stars and rotated the weapon in his palm, "The mighty Dot has been unmasked."

Travis did not respond, instead the fire in his eyes grew brighter.

Shooting upwards he watched Akiol stand below. It frustrated him to no bounds. His efforts weren't for nothing!

Pointing Abe skywards he formed a massive ball of Abyssal Energy. This time it was far bigger than the one before, large enough to case a shadow over part of the Kingdom!

Travis threw it down, "Disappear!"

Akiol smiled slightly, "What a cliché line Dot!"

His Aura spiked as he took a stance. He had been using the {Cataclysm Technique} like Skills. However the truth behind the Cataclysm Technique was for humanity to wield the power of natural disasters.

When learned to the pinnacle, it no longer becomes a series of ace moves. It becomes a way of fighting! To truly wield the elements of nature!

Using {Expeditious Steps} Akiol increased his speed. His figure blurred as he moved, Aura forming around him and swirling. Rising rapidly the Aura took form of three tornadoes!

{Cataclysm Technique: Multi-Vortex Tornado}!

The rapidly spinning Aura shredded the massive ball in seconds. Sliding to slow his movements he bent his legs and leapt directly towards Travis.

"He-He destroyed it?!"

Travis felt like everything he ever knew was flipped upside down. Everything he did was countered, every move he made was pointless!

Akiol swung downwards, Travis moved purely based on reaction and blocked the attack. Only to be sent shooting downwards!

{Cataclysm Technique: Thunder}!

Akiol's mind flashed to when he first learned the technique. His mentor's words: "And when there's Thunder, there's Lightning!"

Akiol shot downwards, the streak of aura followed in a jagged line. The shape of the trademark lightning bolt!

{Cataclysm Technique: Lightning Strike}!

BOOOM-!!!

The force tore apart the nearby trees. Splintered wood flew everywhere. The ground tore up and revealed fresh dirt.

Akiol was pleasantly surprised. His follow up attack was also blocked! Travis' face held pure determination, his arms shaking from the effort of blocking the attack.

Travis stared directly at Akiol, "There's no way someone like you wasn't known. Even if you had died to the Crimson Immortals you would have rapidly regained what you lost. Who the hell are you?!"

The words were strange. Akiol could only feel that the words were based on some other knowledge. Like Travis knew something.

Akiol responded simply, "Just a passerby."

"Bullshit!"

Travis pushed back with everything he had. Akiol was pushed back and into the air, but he merely landed with a flip.

The dirt began to rise from sheer power, Travis was shaking with rage, "You aren't so simple, I can understand that. But you're far from what I remember! You damn anomaly!"

Something definitely wasn't right. Akiol couldn't understand what, but it nagged at him. Like it was pulling his ear.

Akiol blinked, a figure a large shadowy figure appeared above Travis. It took shape of a King, a boney ringed finger pointed at him, a mimic of Travis' own movements. Travis glared directly at him, "Who the hell are you?"

A heavy pressure pushed on Akiol's shoulders. This feeling was just the same as when he entered the store. The feeling of a War Sight! This time, it was far greater!

Travis received several notifications, which he blatantly ignored.

Akiol smiled inwardly, truly a protagonist! To think his opponent would evolve so much in a single battle! Time and time again he was shown just how fantastic the people of this planet were!

He didn't want to be left out!

Akiol took a moment to calm his focus. Due to him not being able to afford to divert his attention he was unable to properly regenerate his arm. Simply manipulating his slime wasn't enough. He believed it was due to a Skill.

He found the Link between he and Mira. His arm twitched and his arm regenerated almost immediately. Akiol flexed it and approved immediately.

The pressure on him increased further as Travis shouted, "Answer me!"

Akiol slipped off Stars' scabbard. Holding it in his off-hand he stored Stars within it.

'What?' -Stars

'Trust me on this.' -Akiol

Akiol hovered his hand over Stars' handle. The scabbard was a decent ways away from his hip. Leaning forward Akiol primed himself, his gaze sharpening. Travis responded likewise. He decided to put every fiber of his being into finishing off Akiol. Taking up a stance his killing intent rose. Lumen began to gleam brighter, and Abe had a darker luster.

Travis roared, "You'll become just a stepping stone for my growth!"

Boom-!

A shockwave split into two directions as they charged directly ahead. Both silently choosing to finish everything in a single blow!

Travis crossed his arms and swung forwards. His two swords crossing past each other. A white line following behind the tip of Lumen, and a black line following behind the tip of Abe.

A twister of white and black energy followed behind Travis. Spiraling behind him.

The chaotic Aura around Akiol seemed to calm for just a moment. The trail of silver turned into a fine line. He then gripped the handle of Stars.

The two passed each other, everything froze for just a moment. Travis had his arms extended. He had finished his attack!

Stars was pulled only an inch out of his scabbard. Akiol slowly breathed out. Memories of his path up to this point resurfaced. A small smile spread upon his lips, "You're not the only one who can evolve mid-fight."

Akiol pushed Stars into the scabbard completely. A faint clink was heard and suddenly a large explosion of silver appeared at Travis' location! A shockwave formed and spread for hundreds of meters! A deafening clap could be heard for even further!

Akiol stood up, "The first move of my own style. My own fighting path. I created it here."

He silently named it. Even if his naming wasn't the best, he felt like this was fitting for his journey through A World's Legacy.
