"You."
Kan'na nodded, she was just chosen as the next fighter.
The party currently had ten minutes before their assigned time, so they had decided to choose now and enter the room early.
Kan'na was actually quite pleased that she was chosen this early. There was quite a lot of things she wanted to confirm and test.
Wrock yawned, "So what's your plan?"
Kan'na answered plainly, "To eliminate them as fast as possible."
"Aren't there things you want to test?"
"How fast the round lasts depends on the results."
Wrock whistled, "Not going easy on them eh? I pity our opponents."
"Who are you pitying?!", A group walked in, the person in the front shouting as they entered, "We will see who is being pitied during the match-!"
A hand covered their mouth, "Sorry, she's a little competitive."
Wrock chuckled, "It's all good."
The team walked into the Matchup Room and Kan'na quickly assessed them based on their equipment.
It was another all rounder team composition, consisting of a Defender, Warrior, Archer, Assassin, Priest, and Sorcerer.
There was nothing unique about their equipment, they all looked like Mass Produced quality, save for a few rarer pieces.
Based around their first interaction the team wasn't fully coordinated, most likely arguments form during fights.
Besides the arrogant one, the others seemed nervous. Constantly readjusting themselves in their seat. Eyes flickering around the place.
'Odd, this should be their third match. Is it an act?'
Regardless Kan'na had already decided on her moves.
Ever since she realized that the game's mana was a carbon copy of their previous world's mana. She couldn't help but wonder why her custom made fighting style failed to work.
If the mana was the same, why wasn't her magic circles working?
She studied this for weeks, testing it thoroughly. After weeks of effort, she finally found out why. Her unique style was built around her own body's mana. She creates the magic circle using her own mana to instruct the ambient mana.
So what was the issue? Player's bodies were not the same. The bodies of players were not breathing living pieces of flesh. Due to this they lacked the Mana Lines of their previous world.
A crucial piece of their previous strength. An even bigger issue for Kan'na.
The mana she was given control of, in this case MP, was a lesser form of what she was used to. It wasn't her mana, it was the game's.
Despite these troubles she did realize something crucial. While she couldn't do the exact same thing as before, she could implement a few of the theories from her past world into her new abilities.
This is what she intended to test, if it would truly work, and if it did. How destructive could it be?
Both teams readied up and were teleported into the arena. After a quick glance Kan'na immediately approved.
The arena this time was inside a city. Buildings crowded the streets, alleyways apparent from a first glance. This would provide plenty of opportunities.
Kan'na left without a word, several magic circles forming at her fingertips.
Any other player with the same class would be baffled. Creating one magic circle would require a lot of focus, but she was a machine creating them like it was a passing breeze?!
She flicked one into the air, once it was above all the building it rapidly expanded and then faded. Kan'na then placed a similar but much smaller one over her eye.
This was an improved version of her Mana Sight, allowing her to expand the range significantly. If she put more effort into it, the range could expand three times the size of the arena!
She spotted the enemy team's mana signatures, she quickly predicted their path and moved ahead.
Two magic circles floated down to her ankles and her movement speed increased. She moved into an alleyway and expanded a magic circle. It was glowing a bright purple as she made the final touches to it. She pushed it into the wall of the closest building and quickly retreated.
The party was moving loudly, no effort into being stealthy. Kan'na sighed at the amateur team, slightly disappointed that her opponents weren't too skilled.
The enemy team walked in front of where the magic circle was hidden, causing it to expose itself and activate.
Thin purple needles shot out and stabbed into one of the members, causing them to panic.
"Rose! Are you okay?"
Kan'na made a circle motion with her finger and the needles exploded, causing a purple mist to spread throughout the street.
"We're under attack! Quickly retreat into a building!"
"Retreat?! The enemy is right here!"
"Rose is critically injured, we need to heal her!"
"Then go ahead! I'll keep them at bay!"
"Ugh!"
Kan'na watched as most of the team retreated into a nearby building. Leaving one behind.
Kan'na exposed herself, she didn't plan to hide the whole time anyway.
As expected, the remaining enemy was the arrogant one, "You have shown yourself! Such cowardly tactics are no match for me!"
All she saw was a figure through the purple smoke, so she charged towards them. However upon seeing a figure surrounded with magic circles, her brave charge slowed as she hesitated.
Kan'na shook her head, "You hesitated, leading to your death."
"What do you mean-?!"
Magic circles appeared around her and spears shot out. Unable to react she was quickly pierced by the magic spears, completely nullifying her attempts to move.
The enemy coughed blood, "What?"
A small purple magic circle appeared and shot a needle. It pierced the forehead of the enemy and exploded into a purple mist.
Kan'na watched as the enemy faded into light. She quickly cancelled the spears and collected the purple mist into a solid ball.
She examined it before frowning, "Although I expected this, it's still disappointing."
She tossed it aside, the moment the ball hit the ground it evaporated.
The needles specialized in harvesting life force. Life force was incredibly potent if used correctly. Kan'na intended to harvest some to create a powerful explosion to wipe out the enemy team. However her efforts proved useless.
Due to the players not being real humans their life force was pitiful, not enough for her plans. Thus she scrapped this idea and moved onto her next.
She suddenly frowned, "They're moving up? Why would they?"
Again, she was disappointed at the choices made by the team. She quickly moved towards the building and placed a few magic circles. She then retreated, "Good luck."
She snapped and the circles exploded, making the whole building cave in. It only took a few moments before the building was in shambles, leaving a large amount of dust in its place.
She nodded, three had died from the collapse. She assumed the remaining two were the Defender and the Warrior, most likely to a higher HP pool.
She faintly smiled, "Ever heard of a dust explosion?"

Akiol placed a deck of cards down, "Alright so what are we going to play-?"
BOOM-!
An explosion made the deck scatter across the street. Akiol took a breath and looked up at the sky, ". . ."
Kan'na crossed her arms, it was done. In just a few moves the enemy team was completely annihilated.
A few of her tests had provided results, so she wasn't too disappointed with the outcome.

Desk Guy sucked in a cold breath of air, "Ahaha. . . those poor people."
He checked the battle time and chuckled lightly.
One minute and thirty-seven seconds!
In fact the majority of that time was the teams moving. The actual time in combat was less than thirty seconds!
Desk Guy quickly moved and clipped the battle. After sending it to The Wall he felt a little rueful, that was the last battle for today! It was so quick!
He sipped the sparkling water, frowning at the taste. Within a minute he quickly gained a few responses to the clip he had sent.
-LOL, is that the fastest time yet?
-Those poor people.
-Nevermind, the fastest match beats this one by a few seconds. If only she didn't examine that strange bead. . .
-That's crazy, what kind of spell did she use?

"Thank you for your teachings."
Zanyill nodded, "It was a pleasure, it is a shame I cannot show you more."
Travis responded in kind, "You have given me more than I could ever ask."
"Grow further, do not let my efforts be wasted."
"I will not."
Travis bade farewell to Zanyill and Nana. Whilst his training was short, it was incredibly fruitful.
Now that he had the power, there was something he needed to do.
. . .
Meanwhile, in a dark cave light only by a few candles. . .
"Oh oh oh~! He's finally done! Now that he is away from those scary ones, I can finally! Finally!"
A hunched over man with so many blemishes it made their face look horrid gently placed a wrapped object onto a table.
He unwrapped it, "They called me crazy! Crazy~! Those dwarves know nothing! Nothing!"
Within the wrap was a sword, almost completely white. A few gold engravings across the blade, more apparent on the guard and pommel.
"I cannot wait~!"
