"You are not considering going to Itrusia, are you?" Sianna narrowed her eyes at Destrian as soon as they were on their own again.
The duke had just left to tell his daughter the good news.
"What if I am?" He grumbled.
Sianna pursed her lips. "Your parents will not be happy."
He ran a hand through his hair. He knew that, but if their kingdoms were meant to be enemies forever, why did his mate happen to be Yorucian?
So he kissed Sianna on the cheek. "You worry too much. I will go in disguise and no one will ever know it's me. Besides, I don't even want to attend the banquet. I only want to meet her again. She lives close to the castle. The royal family will be too busy entertaining their guests to notice me while I look for her."
Sianna's gaze remained worried as she looked at him. "Will you tell your parents?"
