The following morning in Yorucia, Marlena had just sat down in the gazebo to wait for the mother queen when a maid came over with another tray of pastries and a letter on it. She set the tray down and gave the letter to her.
"Your Highness, there's a letter for you."
She glanced at it suspiciously. The last letter she had received did not bear any good news. To say she was scared of receiving any new ones was an understatement.
"Do you know who it's from?" she asked, to which the maid shook her head.
She grabbed the letter and turned it over to check the seal. Seeing the Kallistan seal, she wasn't sure whether or not to be relieved. This had to be from Zephyr, but that wasn't necessarily good.
She anxiously tore it open as soon as the maid left.
