"I didn't mean to blurt it out this way." She sat up when he let go of her.
He raked his hand through his hair. "Why would you say that kind of thing?" He didn't understand.
It took a moment for her to realize he thought she was making it up. "Do you think I would joke about such a thing?"
"So you really are pregnant." He confirmed.
"I am." It was still new to her as well. "I found out barely two days ago as well. Loretta went to her parents's home to pay her ailing mother a visit and two days ago, I thought it would be nice to check up on them." She reminisced.
