"I'm not sure of it but for a while, Cassius has been trying to find Elifur. Someone must have told him I would certainly know where to find him but when he came searching for me, he accidentally bumped into my plan."
She was quick to pin the pieces together. "So he came up with a more feasible plan: tell me your plan and have me find Elifur." How smart. Cassius must have already known he didn't stand much chance of convincing Hades, but there was nothing she couldn't make the king of the underworld do for her.
She was helpless. "Is there any sure way to find out where Elifur is?"
"You are no longer asking this just to help Cassius, are you?" He guessed.
"I didn't know I was that obvious. You are right." She didn't explain anything more than that. She wanted to know what would become of her son, without telling Hades or Cassius the truth.
