Ylvia cleared her throat and took over. "The human realm is more complicated than any other realm and that was where you were born. It's not a surprise that your life is so complicated you can barely understand a thing about it."
"I can explain later if you have the time." Ylvia promised.
"I would love to hear all about it." Delaney quickly remembered the man she had seen earlier. "Do you know my husband?"
Ylvia was pleasantly surprised that she remembered him. "He will be overjoyed to learn you are thinking about him."
She smiled. "Let him know he is not on his own, okay? I'm watching over all of you."
Ylvia hugged her in response and glanced over at Archer before carefully suggesting, "You can come back to us, you know."
Her gaze fell at the thought of it. "I wish I could. But I'm a denizen of the underworld. I cannot just leave as I wish."
