Anton Cook required around the clock care which meant he couldn't leave his side.
Aubree Groove asked, "Have you eaten yet?"
"Yes, I had."
"What did you eat?"
"Chicken leg, um let me think... also cilantro beef dumplings."
"Alright, I'm going to eat now too. Gotta hang up."
Aubree Groove disconnected the call abruptly showing no sign of reluctance. Listening to the busy tone, Peter Aria let out a resigned chuckle.
Such an unfeeling lass.
"Dr. Aria, you must have not eaten tonight, I've packed a rice dish for you with eight treasures. Please don't be picky. You've been under a lot of stress these days, you need to eat well."
The newly appointed assistant placed a lunch box on his desk and ran off without waiting for Peter Aria's response.
Peter Aria usually got meals from the cafeteria when there was no food left and had to make ends meet with instant noodles or take-out. The staff were thoughtful and took turns to make sure he got his meals.
