Chapter 4 - Finding True Love.

17th March 2010.

The next morning, Harry wakes up at around 4 o' clock. He is in a lot of pain and is extremely tired since his body aches from fatigue. He gets up, grabs the medicine and tablets which the doctor gave and those which he told him to get, as he gets them from his bag and takes a few of them.

Once Harry has taken his medicine and tablets, Harry leaves the living room and attempts to have a quick workout before heading to his parents place. During Harry's workout, he tries to do some push-ups, sit ups and work the heavy bag, however Harry's in no proper shape to do so and once he's done, Harry gets ready to head to his parents place now as he grabs his keys to The Loft and the Aston. Harry leaves The Loft, gets into the Aston, turns on his radio to listen to some classic rock music the drives off to Fairfield.

Once Harry arrives at his parents place, he parks the Aston in the driveway then goes inside. Harry heads inside, greets his parents, Sean and Michelle. Sean asks his son, "What's wrong with your face, son? Looks like a train ran over it" Harry informs his father, "I had a fight last night, dad. Against Cole 'The Cash-Man' Woods". Andy asks his brother, "Did you win the fight, Harry?" He answers, "Oh yeah, I won, via knock out in the third round". Harry looks around. He asks, "Where is Zoey? As I'd like to have a word with her. I don't see her around".

Harry is thinking about asking his sister to arrange him to met with one of her friends, in order to date her. Arthur informs him, "Zoey is out with her friends at Nancy's". Nancy's is the local coffee shop in Fairfield. Harry say, "All right, I'll go and see her there". He then states, "I'll take a walk to the coffee shop. I'll leave the Aston here since it's not far from here and I need the walk, to wake these tired and sore muscles up and I need the exercise in order to keep them fit and warm".

Harry tells his family, "I will see you later on, so goodbye for now". Everyone says goodbye to Harry as he leaves the house and takes a long walk to the coffee shop to see his twin sister, Zoey. After about a twenty minute walk, Harry arrives at the coffee shop. He sees Zoey sitting at a table through the window pane and talking with her friends.

Harry heads inside. The first thing Harry does, he orders him something to eat and drink since he hasn't eaten today. Nancy is an elderly woman, probably in her 60''s. Nancy always tires her full head of grey hair up and has green eyes. She is the owner of the coffee shop. Harry approaches Nancy. He asks her, "Good morning, Nancy. How are you doing today?" Nancy responds, "quite well, Harry". Nancy asks Harry, "What's wrong with your face? Yo have a black and bruised left eye and a cut above your right eye as well". Nancy can see the stitches there too.

Harry informs Nancy, "I had a fight last night against Cole 'The Cash-Man' Woods, which I won in the third round via knock out" Nancy responds, "Congrats, Harry. Keep up the good work and one day you'll win the Heavyweight Title and make everyone in Fairfield and the rest of Liverpool proud of you and when that day comes, I'll give you anything you want on the house". Harry says, "Thank you, Nancy. I'll do my best on that as one day, I'll probably fight for the title, sooner or later and hopefully win it".

Harry places an order. He requests, "Nancy, could I have a cup of tea, no sugar or milk and a chicken toasted sandwich, please". After Harry places his order, he asks Nancy, "How much do I owe you?" She tells him, "Everything comes to £25.50" Harry does his calculations. Afterwards he informs Nancy, "I truly am sorry but I am a £1.50 short, Nancy". But at this moment, Harry hears someone call his name. It's a familiar voice, one he knows too well.

Harry turns around and it's Zoey calling him as Harry sees her sitting with her friends, to which she waves at him. Harry tells Nancy, "Would you hang on just a second as I plan to greet my sister quickly". Harry walks over to Zoey. He greets her and her many friends sitting with her. He says, "Hey Zoey. Hi Vanessa. Hi Margaret. Hi Mary. Hi Abigail". All of Zoey's friends responds by saying, "Hey Harry". While Zoey responds, "Morning, little brother" Harry asks Zoey, "How are you doing?" Zoey answers, "I am doing well just having a good time with my friends. How are you doing this morning?".

Harry informs Zoey, "That's great. I am good just a bit tired and have a bad headache. I guess that comes with being a fighter" just now, Harry asks his sister, "Would you mind helping me out. I was wondering if I could borrow some money from you since I am short on cash and never brought enough. I owe Nancy £1.50. I promise to pay you back" Zoey asks, "How come you are always short on cash, Harry? You're the one who makes all the large amounts of money with being a fighter yet you're always low and needing money? Why is that?".

Harry answers, "Well, I've got a lot of expenses. Like the rent for starters. Money for petrol since the car I drive is a V8, my boxing fees like my gym fees and equipment, my medical bills and taxes, you know things like that" Zoey responds to this, "All right, Harry. Here". Zoey gives in and hands Harry a £20. Harry says, "Thank you for bailing me out yet again. I appreciate it and I'll pay you back soon. I promise". Harry kisses Zoey on her head, to which he tells Zoey and her friends, "I'll be seeing all of you around soon as for now, I've got to get going and pay for my order because I never had breakfast this morning and that's bad for a fighter in recovery".

Harry walks off and pays for his meal, he sits down to enjoy his breakfast. While Harry is eating, Zoey notices that her friend has arrived at last. She sees her walking through the door, entering the coffee shop. She's rather late since everyone was supposed to be here at 8 and its pass 9. Zoey's friend explains to her and the rest of their as to why she's late. She states, "Sorry for being late. The reason I am late is because I've been having some car trouble for quite some time and I wish that I could get it sorted".

Zoey and the rest of her friends greets her. Zoey informs her, "I know someone who can help you with your troubles" her friend asks her, "Who can help me out with my car trouble because I am not sure what to do anymore. I am even willing to pay them for the job" and then Zoey pointes to Harry. Zoey informs her, "that's my younger twin brother, Harold. Myself, our family and everyone in Fairfield simply calls him Harry. He can definitely help you out with your car problems since he is a good mechanic. Come on, I'll introduce the two of you so that you can officially meet".

Zoey takes her friend over to meet Harry in order to introduce them. Harry is still eating his sandwich while drinking his tea. He then realises he's got tablets to take. Harry was about to ask Nancy if he could have some water since he's got tablets to take but Zoey catches him off guard by saying, "Hey, Harry. I would like you to meet with one of my best friends, that is Elizabeth. Lizzy, this is my brother, Harry". Elizabeth and Harold meets for the first time as they shake hands and introduce themselves.

Elizabeth says, "Hello. I am Elizabeth" while Harold response with, "Hey. I am Harry". Harold then asks Elizabeth, "If you don't mind, I would like to have a word with my sister before we continue. Is that okay with you?" Elizabeth answers, "Okay, I'll let you guys talk. I'm going to have a seat with the rest of my friends while you guys have your siblings chat but let me know when you guys are done talking". Elizabeth leaves while Harry and Zoey have their talk.

Zoey asks Harry, "What's wrong with you? Why did you do that just now? Sending Elizabeth away like that?" Harry responds, "Every time you do this to me and I don't like it, never have". Zoey can see that Harry is upset. She asks him, "Do what? What do I keep doing every time?" Harry informs Zoey, "Every time you catch me off guard by having me meet with one of your beautiful friends. You done this with all of your friends you're sitting with, Vanessa, Margaret, Mary and Abigail and you always do this when I'm not ready as look at me, look at my face, it's all messed up and the clothes I am wearing, it's an ugly old red and black tracksuit with many sweat stains and it's all dirty and smelly".

Zoey asks Harry, "Did you just call Elizabeth beautiful?" Harry answers, "That's not the point but yeah, I did. She is beautiful but first, I look like a wreck, wearing my training gear which grandpa gave me and second, my face is pretty messed up due to the fight I had last night which is mostly why I am upset since I'm sore and tired. You should warn me about things like this beforehand" which Zoey thinks about.

Zoey responds, "I know but it's about time you get together with a woman again and settle down. You're 27, Harry. You haven't had a girlfriend for quite some time now and I really think that Elizabeth is a good choice to have a relationship with. She's good company, that's why I am trying to hook Elizabeth and you up because the two of you would be perfect together and make a great couple. Elizabeth is a good woman, a good friend and she'll be there for you whenever you need her, which would give me a break from that since I am more like your babysitter than your sister, Harry".

Harry thinks about his, 'Maybe it's time that I settle down and start a relationship again. Elizabeth might be a good start because I have been so focused on my boxing career that I kind of forgotten about what it's like to have a girlfriend. If Zoey is recommending this to me, then it has to be something good and lead to something even better'. Harry tells Zoey, "I would like to take the opportunity to speak with Elizabeth but I should remind you that even though you are than me by 12 minutes, it's actually my duty to look after you, not the other way around. Mum would have my head if she found out that you're taking care of me than I am of you, since that's the Edwards rule".

Zoey tells Harry, "I know but I'd like for you to be happy since clearly you are a great fighter but you need someone by your side to go through all the tough times with you. Elizabeth is the perfect person to do that with and that's what I believe and what I know" Harry states, "I understand what you're trying to do for me but for now, I would like the opportunity to talk and get to know Elizabeth. She's beautiful and good looking with those green eyes of her, her short dark brown hair which covers most of her ears and neck and she has great and beautiful skin and I like her smile, since her smile seems like she can make everything bad go right away".

Zoey tells Harry, "It seems like you are already falling in love with Elizabeth, which is a good thing after making all of those comments about her, Harry. I should have introduced the two of you years ago" while Harry responds to her statement, "Just keep quiet and get going. Tell Elizabeth that I would like to talk to her and help sort out the car troubles she's been having" Zoey responds, "Okay, Harry. Enjoy it and love you, little brother". Harry smiles while Zoey leaves and informs Elizabeth that Harry is ready to talk to her.

Elizabeth nervously makes her way towards Harold as she walks over to him and takes a seat at the table he is sitting at. Elizabeth is wearing a floral skirt with black tights and a denim jacker with blue and white shoes. Harold re-introduces himself. He says, "I am sorry of that. My name is Harold Clark Edwards, but people just simply calls me Harry ever since I was a little boy" Elizabeth responds, "It's nice to meet you again, Harold. My full name is Elizabeth Rose Dunn". Elizabeth and Harold shake hands again. Harold asks her, "What's wrong with your car? Zoey told me that you've been having problems with it. I am a good mechanic, been fixing cars since I was thirteen years old. My father taught me about it and I done that line of work for three years after I dropped out of school, mostly because we couldn't afford it anymore".

Elizabeth informs him, "I'm not sure but it takes a while to start whenever I turn the key and it makes a jerking motion whenever I drive and have to shift gears" Harold asks Elizabeth, "What car manufacturer is it? The vehicle you drive" Elizabeth answers, "Oh, it's Ford Fiesta 2009 1.3L, Harold" He responds, "so it's basically still a new car but I don't trust them later car model cars nor do I like it, never have". Elizabeth asks him, "Why don't you trust the later car models?" Harold informs her, "I prefer the old school ones myself since I still drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage from 1987. She's old and rusted but she still does the job pretty well".

Harold tells Elizabeth, "The problem might be the fan belt. I've had that problem many times with the Vantage" Harry asks Elizabeth, "Where's the Fiesta now?" Elizabeth informs him, "The Fiesta, I've parked it outside the coffee shop" Elizabeth points to the car while Harold has a look at where she is pointing. Zoey looks at Elizabeth and Harold while they are having their chat. She can actually see a difference in Harry since he's not within his defensive shell like he always is, he is actually opening up to company around him.

Harry seems happy to be talking with Elizabeth while he enjoys his talk with her and opening up to her as he leans forward to talk to her. Zoey smiles because she has a feeling that Elizabeth is the one and future for Harry to be and she too thinks about if they got together and eventually get married. Zoey would like for them to give her a few nieces and nephews. Harold tells Elizabeth, "You should come with me to my parents place. I'll fix the Fiesta there since I don't have any tools at my place as my parents place, that's where I fix the Aston all the time whenever she has a problem".

Elizabeth ask him, "How much should I pay you for fixing my car?". Harold looks at her then answers, "No money. I wasn't planning on charging you anything for fixing your car" Elizabeth responds, "come on, how can I not pay you anything for fixing my car?" Harold answers, "I wasn't planning to charge you for anything in the first place, besides probably going out with me for either some coffee or any other drink you like". Elizabeth looks at Harold. She asks him, "are you asking me out on a date?".

Harry answers, "I am. It's been a while since I've been on a date. I'm always busy training or going through with fights but since I've got two, maybe three weeks off. I guess that it's time to see someone again, being in and building a good, proper and honest relationship". Elizabeth thinks about it. She thinks to herself, 'Harold doesn't seem like a bad person. He is quiet handsome and tall. He is my best friend's brother. I am a bit afraid if this goes wrong and I might end up losing a good friend since whose side would Zoey take if things don't go well, mine or her brother' to which she tells Harold, "Sure, I would like to go on a date with you. I am single too and it has been ages for me since I last went on a date and had a boyfriend".

Harold hears her out and after she passes this information, Elizabeth continues, "I'd like to ask you just two things before we take the Fiesta to your parents place" Harold responds, "You can ask away". Elizabeth asks him, "Do you have a phone so that I could give you my number to contact you and why do you fight, Harold? You seem like a great person and quite reserved". Harry begins by answering the first question. He tells Elizabeth, "Nah, I don't own a phone, never liked it since it always kept ringing with so much people keep calling me all of the time and having a phone, it was always too complicated for me to understand and use, so I sold it but if you like to stay contact me, you could always message or call Zoey. She'll forwards the messages to me" which Elizabeth understands.

While Harold continues, "And as to why I fight, That's quite simple. I never finished school. The highest grade I completed was the eighth and I worked as a mechanic for three years and worked in a steel factory but the main reason why I fight is because I can't sing nor dance but I am sure that I am better than the average bear since I don't have any other talents, besides being a mechanic, so that's why I fight" as Elizabeth begins to laugh at what Harold just told her.

She tells him, "That's quite funny and a good joke" Harold admits to Elizabeth, "You have a cute laugh, Elizabeth. I like it but for now I would like to take your car to my parents place to have the car fixed there". Harold takes his half-eaten sandwich and tea and then gets up. He accompanies Elizabeth to inform Zoey, "I'll be heading out with Elizabeth to our parents place so I can fix Elizabeth's car and I'll see you later on" Zoey tells Harry, "Okay, see you later and bye for now, Harry". Zoey tells Elizabeth, "Bye, Lizzy. Enjoy the drive over to my parents place".

Elizabeth says, "Goodbye, Zoey. Bye Vanessa, Margaret, Mary, Abigail. See you all again some time". After Elizabeth says goodbye to her friends, Elizabeth and Harold says goodbye to everyone and is about to leave the coffee shop and head to the Edward residence. Harold asks Elizabeth, "Are you ready to go? I'll show you to my parents place". Elizabeth informs Harold, "Sure, I am ready to go now". Elizabeth and Harold gets into the Fiesta, while Elizabeth drives them to his parents place, in order for him to get working on the Fiesta and fix it, if he is able to do so.
