Endra

Planet Majhr was a first class mortal planet having a spherical body and a circumference of a hundred thousand miles. Mortal planets are those planets with little to no extreme conditions that can affect mortals.

No special equipment, powerful ability, or high rank was needed to survive such planets as a mortal. Ideal gravity, weather, Ki density, and other necessary living conditions.

Planets were also classed based on how developed and economically advanced they were, ranging from fourth class to first class. Some planets had one continent and others had multiple continents, planet Majhr belonged to the former with a ginormous continent covering half of the planet, the rest being waterbodies.

A planet being first class though did not mean that it did not have backwater regions that were less developed compared to central regions and Majhr was not an exception.

On a particularly remote region, south of the continent, an old building made out of some not-so-special stones stood erect, it was about four meters tall and ten meters wide with a pyramidal thatched roof, surrounded by sparse tall trees.

Endra, a ten years old kid with a light brown skin tone and dark brown short curly hair jumped from the window frame and landed with a '' patt'' sound. He dusted his hands on his navy blue shorts and revealed a wild grin as he checked out his naked torso.

'' Time to hunt hehe. '' He started racing towards the edge of the sparse forest with an agility that was way above an ordinary mortal.

When he reached the outer region of the forest, he saw people going to and from the forest but those hillbillies weren't his target.

he took a slow pace when he was in the midst of people to blend in even though his outfit was too out of place but he didn't care.

'' Ouch. '' An old woman slightly groaned. '' Kid watch where you are going. '' She glared.

'' Sorry, ma'am. '' Jerald quickly said and started picking up the books that fell on the ground. After he was done, he handed it back to the woman with an innocent smile and she nodded.

'' Good kid. '' She ruffled his hair with gentleness when she saw the innocent look.

'' Um,'' He nodded too and continued moving a bit at a hurried pace.

'' Five Ezarr haha. '' He released a mischievous laugh and threw the now empty purse away.

This was Endra's source of living which was very common in this part of Majhr, pickpocketing. Ezarr is the general currency in Ezgard and an average Deva would spend a hundred Ezarr daily.

Endra continued this act until the sun's amber radiance dimmed and the two moons were already out in the sky.

'' Sixty Ezarr! I sure am lucky. '' Endra was truly happy with today's gain and he was sure that would suffice him for a few days since he was in a remote region after all.

He was about to return to his resting place when he noticed he was being trailed. He changed direction and headed deep into the forest where the trees are no longer sparse and the terrain was filled with scattered rocks and hills, he continued for about twenty minutes until he got close to a cliff.

'' Ten mortals really? I must have been careless while stealing from one of them. ''

'' Kid you have no place to go now, return the money and we shall let you live. '' A voice sounded as ten men appeared from the forest.

They all look burly and they wore tattered clothes each geared with their hunting weapons and they reeked of cheap alcohol.

'' Things will turn slightly messy now. '' Endra laughed in his head. He was not afraid of these ten people in the slightest., he had already manifested his Zajra and his strength was not something ordinary mortals could compare with. In fact, he lured them to this place so as to beat those adults up, collect the little they had, and then ran away before an enforcer find out about the whole commotion.

'' Hey, little scoundrel we are talking to you so stop ignoring us. '' One of them who held a short knife bellowed in exasperation.

The gangs were dozens of meters away and Endra knew his Dharma won't work at that distance so he decided to close in on them. He manifested his Zajra and a thin grey staff of two meters long appeared in his hands.

The group was startled when they saw him manifesting his Zajra and they knew they had to give their all at this point.

The first person Endra clashed with was the guy with a short knife who bellowed earlier. With his agility, jumping in the air to attack was no issue for him and he waved his staff in midair. The man wanted to parry with the knife but the force broke the knife and flung him away.

Another man tried to appear from his blind spot but the ground suddenly exploded making him lose his stability, Endra struck with his staff and he passed out on the spot.

'' Two down hehe, I'll probably earn a few Ezarr before the day ends. ''

The remaining eight paused when they saw how quickly their allies were subdued and they all share a gaze before nodding. They picked rocks on the ground and hurled them at Endra.

'' B*stards '' he cursed.

Shimmering lines appeared under their feet without their knowledge and the ground vibrated making them trip.

Endra won't let go of this chance, he dodged the oncoming rocks and jumped at them, and started striking heavily with his staff till all of them passed out.

'' That was fun hehe. '' He started searching their body and eventually, he found an extra twenty Ezarr which increased his earnings to eighty Ezarr.

'' What a bright day haha oh it is night already, well what a bright night. '' He released a happy laugh and prepare to dash out of this place before any enforcer caught the wind.

'' Not bad kid. ': A thin female voice hit him and he froze. He turned from his bent position to see who it was and his mind sank.

'' A Quartz rank Deva, but she is not wearing the enforcer uniform? '' Endra inspected the woman quizzically.

She wore a tight black leather outfit with short green hair and she was laughing dangerously.

'' Who are you? '' Endra asked while readying his staff.

'' Who am I? '' She questioned back with a lazy expression. '' A nobody like you does not need to know who I am, you're coming with me. ''

Fighting a Quartz rank was not an impossible task for him, Endra knew his strength well and that was what he planned to do right now, he won't allow someone he had never seen to abduct him.

'' Don't overestimate yourself kid, those morons are not even worthy of my Zajra and you think you can fight me after defeating them? '' She waved her right hand forward and an air missile headed for Endra.

He flickered his hand and a shimmering line appeared before the air missile, immediately the latter touched the former, it simply dispersed.

Endra's staff started shimmering and he struck the ground, immediately the terrain was disfigured and rock shards went for where the unknown lady was standing.

She was not fazed by the attack though, she simply waved her hands again and a cyclone gathered around her and pushed the rock shards away.

'' Enough of this child's play old witch, the enforcers will soon be here. '' A new voice which seemed to be that of a male echoed across the forest.

Endra's face darkened when he saw another man in black leather who seemed to be the lady's ally appeared.

'' I was having fun here fool. '' She replied while laughing creepily.

Endra knew his chance of escape is narrow now that two bonafide Devas are crossing his path but the situation was not completely hopeless.

'' Fine, I didn't want to drag innocent lives along but it seems I have no choice. ''

Ten minutes later, the corpses of the two Devas lay gruesomely on the floor, and not only that, the ten men who were beaten earlier were now dead with gory body parts scattered everywhere.

Endra's body was nowhere to be found, only traces of blood headed in a particular direction.
