概要

"I feel lost in my life, and my worst lost when I between two savage men." _Syrena. Princess Syrena, who disapproves of her arranged marriage, tries to thwart the engagement by giving her future husband a magic potion. Who would have thought, after getting the magic potion, Prince Agenor's body transformed? A pair of strong black feathered wings protruding from the back. The nails on his fingers grew long and sharp. His brown hair turned white, and his blue eyes turned golden. Even more shocking is that Prince Agenor, known as a demon on the battlefield, must share his body with a demon spirit named Nyxe. Unfortunately, King Dione's decision was unanimous. The king prefers to sacrifice his daughter to marry a wicked prince than bear the risk of war and colonization. What will Prince Agenor do to Syrena, who has bewitched him? Can Syrena survive in her marriage? "I don't know what's love, but I know you were born for me." _Nyxe Enjoy the story of Syrena, Agenor, and Nyxe only in the novel "The Half Demon Prince's Bride."

Chapter 1Engagement

"I want to place the ring on your finger, not break it," said General Prince Agenor Dell, his gaze cold as he looked at the brunette princess before him. He gently slid a ring with a red gemstone onto the ring finger of the grey-eyed girl.

A new chapter began in Syrena's life as she became engaged to Prince Lagardioz, the second prince. He was a well-built man with a pair of beautiful blue eyes.

[If fertility isn't a requirement to become the crown prince of Lagardioz, I'm not interested in dealing with women. After marrying her, all I need to do is have a child with her.]

The day that girls worldwide had been eagerly anticipating turned out to be the worst for Syrena. She strongly disapproved of sudden marriages for any reason, especially those driven by politics.

Syrena stared at the brown-haired man before her, his face void of any smiles. His actions irritated her, as they confirmed her suspicions that he would only use her as a political tool.

[Why did I have to marry such a young tyrant?]

Although inwardly irritated, Syrena couldn't deny the prince's charisma as she looked at Agenor's face. He had a handsome visage and an ideal physique.

However, being handsome was not enough for Syrena, especially if the prince viewed her merely as a source of gratification.

In the grand royal hall of Ruxenia, they celebrated Syrena's engagement with a lavish party. The spacious room had high walls and domes adorned with paintings of the night sky. The guests appeared both enthusiastic and anxious.

"Did you hear? I was told that Prince Agenor's engagement to Princess Syrena is a requirement for him to compete with his stepbrother for the crown prince title," whispered a black-haired female guest from behind a red fan that concealed half of her face.

"It seems so. It's unfortunate that Princess Syrena is entering into a political marriage with a prince known for his arrogance in his domain. Will that wicked man treat the princess well?" expressed a worried red-haired woman.

"Well, we have no choice. On the other hand, it pains me to see the princess forced to marry a wicked man like Prince Agenor. Nevertheless, I am grateful for their engagement because it saves our kingdom from the threat of colonization by the Lagardioz kingdom," resignedly replied the small-faced woman.

"You're right! We mustn't forget the threat posed by a dark wizarding kingdom like Valcke in the north. Fortunately, our kingdom has a beautiful princess. Otherwise, a proposal from a powerful kingdom like Lagardioz would never have materialized," added a plump woman.

The women engaged in gossip suddenly fell silent. They believed that sacrificing a princess to marry a wicked prince was a lesser evil compared to everyone suffering due to colonization and attacks from the dark wizarding kingdom.

The rumors about Prince Agenor's cruelty seemed to be true. When Syrena's and Agenor's eyes accidentally met, an instant chill ran down the silver-eyed princess's spine. Syrena's hands trembled, even as they were held by the prince.

Loud applause filled the royal hall as the prince placed the engagement ring on Syrena's finger. The king and queen gazed at their brunette princess, filled with emotion. Perhaps, for the Ruxenia king and queen, sending their daughter off for an alliance marriage would be more beneficial than allowing her to continue aimlessly in the palace.

[Let's see! I swear this engagement will fail!]

Although Syrena's pink lips wore a smile, her heart burned with hatred. She detested this restraint the most.

In Syrena's mind, marrying someone without love would only keep her trapped, like a bird in a gilded cage. She would be nothing more than a display doll during the day and a sex slave at night.

The princess clenched her hands, her chest heaving with anger. She couldn't bear the thought of living even a single day in Prince Agenor's palace.

However, her eyes sparkled with excitement when a maid approached to deliver drinks to Syrena and her future husband.

Together with the guests, they both sipped the served drinks. The princess's eyes glanced at the prince's glass, which was already empty. She inwardly chuckled.

[Accept this engagement gift from me, Prince!] Syrena chuckled inwardly.

Shortly after sharing a drink, Prince Agenor massaged his right temple. Though he maintained a calm appearance, Syrena was certain that something strange was happening within his body.

Beads of sweat formed on Prince Agenor's forehead, growing to the size of corn kernels. Suddenly, his body collapsed, causing everyone to scream in panic.

Guests were filled with fear as they witnessed the prince rolling and writhing as if possessed. Several guards rushed to surround the prince, who groaned in pain.

One of the guards attempted to assist the prince, but was thrown far away by Prince Lagardioz's power.

Amidst a terrifying scream, two enormous wings tore through the prince's garments. All eyes widened as if they were about to pop out of their sockets upon seeing a pair of gigantic black wings emerging from the prince's back. The excessive size of the wings caused the fabric of the prince's upper shirt to tear.

[Aha... it worked!]

Agenor tugged at the cloth that wrapped around his arms with a rough motion. The guests stared in astonishment at the upper body of General Prince Agenor, with his strong physique, broad chest, and firm muscles. Then, the prince's brown hair gradually turned white like pearls.

[Damn it! Someone has bewitched me on my engagement day!]

Syrena hurriedly approached the king and queen.

"My king and queen! Look, the prince has transformed into a monster! Are you sure you want me to marry a monster?" cried Syrena. All eyes immediately fixed on the oval-faced princess, disbelief etched on their faces.

"Princess Syrena! Do not utter another word!" snapped the king in front of the crowd.

After writhing on the ground for a while, Prince Agenor slowly stood up. A pair of massive black wings clung to his back, their span long enough to touch the floor, compensating for the prince's towering height.

Holding his throbbing head, the prince locked his gaze on the guests. People gasped in shock as they saw his blue eyes transform into a golden hue.

Syrena never expected her future husband to turn into a black-winged man with fangs and claws.

"You monster!" shrieked Syrena, pointing her finger at the prince's chest.

[That girl! It must be her doing!]

The golden-eyed prince glared at Syrena with hatred. He flapped his enormous wings, causing a gust of wind to swirl around. Instantly, a sour expression crossed the prince's angular face.

"Is it true that the prince has transformed into a monster?" Whispers among the guests grew louder, filling the palace hall. King and Queen Ruxenia looked panicked.

Without delay, the transformed prince lunged toward Syrena. Prince Agenor's black claws gripped the delicate neck of the princess of Ruxenia.

Syrena's face turned red, her eyes wide open in shock as if she were gasping for air. Fearful screams erupted from everyone present, including Syrena's father.

The Crown's Seduction

[Warning: r18+/strong mature content] He is her salvation. She, his demise. Yet, he refuses to let her go… Mineah, the youngest Princess of Ebodia, was cursed at birth to remain untainted and bring misfortune to those around her. This prophecy looms over her like a dark cloud, growing bigger every year it does not come to pass. She exists in hushed rumors as a pitiful figure - fragile, meek, unwanted. Underneath that mask is a strong and feisty vixen worthy of being a queen. And this would-be queen has set her eyes on breaking her curse, even if that means tricking the most cunning vampire ever born. Nikolai, though reclusive and enigmatic, is revered by the Kingdom of Valcrez as a wise and powerful ruler. Unbeknownst to his loyal subjects, his image of perfection is a web of lies that if exposed can send their kingdom and everything they hold dear crumbling beneath their feet. When these two find their paths crossed in a marriage alliance, the game of Crown's Seduction begins. But just who is the hunter and who is the prey? ******** Excerpt: “Why are you stripping naked in front of me?” she questioned with a frown, doing little to hide the irritation in her voice. Her goal was to capture only his heart, not his whole body! “Am I not allowed to have a bath with my wife?” he remarked with a cold tone. “I purposely asked for a big tub to just make sure that the two of us will fit in it together.” She sighed, not tearing her gaze away from him as she regained her composure. Seeing him smirk she forced herself to get comfortable as he spoke. “That’s more like it. You said it yourself that no one forced you into marrying me. Instead, you offered and volunteered yourself willingly for it, so I expect that you’ll be confident enough to share a bath with your husband,” Nikolai confidently stated. “After all, we’ll do more than this soon enough.” Shameless… Preventing herself from rolling her eyes, she managed to give him a smile as she said, “Don’t blame me if you die on me then.” **** Note: Volume 1: Main Story Status - Completed (Chapters 1 to 403) Volume 2: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 404 to 472) Volume 3: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 473 to 491) **** PS: Commissioned Book Cover owned by the Author! Who will help her along the journey? ~Excerpt~ Then she felt him, all of him. All his ruggedness. The strength of his arm. The softness of his lips. The grip of his hand. The warmth of his breath. Every muscle in her body went taut at the implications of sleeping in a man’s arms. She had never slept in a male’s embrace before. Her whole skin tingled like tiny sparks dancing on the very parts that connected with him. The crevices of her brain had these memories which weren't hers. This touch somehow didn't seem foreign to her. She felt safe in his soothing embrace and didn't wish to push him away and yet she knew this was far from appropriate. Cassandra tried to wriggle out of his hold, his arms seemed to be built from iron for they wouldn't budge. The light garment she had worn had lifted from her milky thigh baring it as his bronzed muscular one was draped on it. And now she could sense something poking her back. Her eyes suddenly expanded from the realisation and Cassandra fully panicked. “Let go!” She voiced out, heavily. Siroos slowly lifted his leg and slackened his hold on her waist so she could shuffle away. He had awakened when she had stiffened for the first time but wished to behold what she would try. With eyes blown wide she stole a glance towards the man who had her wrapped in his embrace like a precious treasure, his treasure. His molten gold eyes had flickered open and there was this softness and want with which he stared at her. Those soft brown curls cascaded over his eyes as he forgot to blink, watching the timeless beauty that she was. Her one-of-a-kind fragrance was a torture to his senses. How he wished to grab her dainty ankle, pull her from it and have her sprawled underneath him. To kiss the very skin that oozed such scent which was driving him insane. Instead, he bent his arm and placed it under his cheek using it like a pillow to watch her with desire-filled eyes. The awkward lull between them prolonged as Cassandra cleared her throat. “Did you have to climb on me to sleep?” “It wasn't intentional but was certainly enticing and definitely won't be the last time.” His deeply hypnotic voice was even more alluring this early in the morning as it resonated all around her. The book cover is mine.

The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat!

'Kill monsters, eat meat' 'I mean, Kill monsters, save lives. Got it.' 'Tut, I could've sworn that the first one sounded better.' She wasn't a girl looking for freedom or self-righteous liberation by a hero, or whatever shit a girl who suffered for almost all her life would crave. -the shit of a life she was living was horrible, but it was bearable, and so she got used to it. Rather, instead of freedom, what this little missy wanted was money. Lots and lots of them so she never has to worry about the next day. Money - bountiful enough that when she has to spend, she doesn't need to look back or calculate her assets to see how much she has left. Money - bountiful enough to get all the fried chicken she could ever dream of. Yeah, you heard it, fried chicken. For those who did not have money to spare leisurely, getting fried chicken was like a pipe dream to them and she had been one of those unfortunate souls. A comfortable roof above her head and no worries as to when she would get ordered around to steal. No worries about when she would get her next meal-- That was her liberation. And she got it. Just that, she got it most absurdly. Awakened! Those were the people ruling the world, alongside beastly and deadly monsters who threatened the safety of average human beings. And those awakened call the shots. Alice never dreamed she would one day be awakened, and compared to others with their game-like system displaying their attributes and strength; she had a full-grown man whom only she could hear, watching her back at every turn and telling her what to do. He was kinda a pain in the ass but she couldn't complain. It was this gift he had bestowed on her that made her the most powerful Awakened there was with stats that even S-class awakeneds couldn't compare to. She was the boss, now. Mwa-hahahahaha. But life didn't go as easy and leisurely as she planned. With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, in her case with great power comes great hunger. She couldn't go a moment without getting hungry and her stomach had become a bottomless pit. And to get food, she needed money, and to get money, she had to hunt monsters. The monsters plagued humanity, causing catastrophes and taking lives mercilessly. Those monsters, as scary as they may be, were her target and she had to face them head-on. The bigger the monsters the more money she would gain. Yeah, that was the plan, but... This guy acting as her system seemed to have other plans, putting her at the forefront of 'justice' and having her clean the mess he somewhat created. 'Ugh, I can already sense a shadow of foreboding. Someone, please tell me I'm not acting the main character role. I just want to eat, okay?'
