“I'm sure the python swam past this river to that cave,” Rey Reed said. “The Lascaux cave, or what did you call it again?” He asked, his gaze now resting on Drax.
He replied, “Yes.”
"What are we waiting for?" Dan asked hastily. "What if we are late? What if the python killed her before reaching the other side of the river?"
"Take it easy," Drax said, and he walked closer to the river. He examined it carefully, and he could see that the track led inside the river. Nonetheless, he didn't want to jump to conclusions.
He knew the snake better than to make a wild guess. The Python had deceived Apollo before it was slain at the oracle temple in Delphi. He didn't want to make the wrong plan. It might endanger their lives.
