Chapter Twelve: Reaper's First Love

Smiling, Rafael went out of his home. He got close to Dark right away. They meet in the middle and then stand still.

"How do you do?" said Dark.

"You're still the same, don't you know how to smile?" Rafael said then pressed both cheeks of Dark just to smile.

"Of all the souls I've picked up from the last decade, you're the only one who's happy because you're dead." Said Dark.

"You know who makes me happy and excited," said Rafael

Rafael stood beside Dark and watched his small house. In Rafael's house, there were quite a few people. These are Rafael's adopted children. When Martha passed away, Rafael nearly committed suicide. Dark stopped him, though. Dark goes there all the time. In a couple of months that Dark visited Rafael, he always wanted to kill Dark, but what exactly can a normal person do to an angel?

"Do you want to see Karen?" Rafael asked

Dark got a little stunned. “She is in there. You know she was a great doctor, right? Most of her patients are grateful to her for being a humble and kind physician. ” said Rafael

Dark didn't answer. Even though Karen couldn't see Dark, he wasn't brave enough to see the woman.

"You know Dark, I don't understand why you can't be in love with humans? Isn't Boss G is love, why are you angels forbidden? ” Rafael asked

The Rafael in front of Dark now is a 25 years old Rafael, but the Rafael who died is already 92 years old. He waited a long time for his time to be with Martha. Dark told Rafael about the baby left by a parent in a trash can near Rafael's house. And since then, Rafael has forgotten to commit suicide. This child is Karen, Dark's first love, and her first and final breach of the law of life.

"It's been a long time that you haven't visited me. I should be mad at you, but since you're taking me to Martha, I'll forget what you did. ” Said, Rafael

Rafael shoved Dark inside the house. There were Rafael's four adoptive children, two girls and two boys, Karen being the oldest among them. They are aged today and have their own family. Rafael has grandchildren, from his grandchildren.

"Why didn't you beautify your home, your adoptive children are already rich," said Dark.

Rafael laughed slightly. "Although this house will rebuild, nobody will live here. You said that my children are rich. They will not live in this kind of place. ”

Dark was surprised when someone broke into his body. Karen came by and broke into his body. She turned around and hugged herself when she got goosebumps. Their faces are so close together that Dark almost kissed the woman, thankfully he's invisible.

"My first-born beauty never fades, does it, Dark?" Rafael said smiling.

Dark hasn't spoken a word. He looked at her. Even though Dark shows up, Karen won't remember him, Azra wipes her memory of Dark. Karen's 65 nowadays, but what Dark sees is a 17-year-old Karen. He didn't expect him to be close to her and fall in love with her, which is forbidden. Karen can't afford to live in the same house with Dark because every minute they're together, Dark can accidentally take Karen's life. If he hadn't followed Azra, Karen could have been dead by the time she was 19. Dark would have chosen to leave the woman and forget her so that she would live longer and Azra seems right, creatures like them would never fall in love with humans.

“She didn't get married when I ask why she didn't get married. She doesn't seem to know, and she doesn't want to. ” Rafael said. "So here I died with no grandchild from her."

"You just died, you became a talker. Martha will shock when she sees you. ” Said Dark

Rafael laughed. "You're still mean to me."

Dark turned to his watch. "Let's go."

"Just a minute," replied Rafael.

Rafael came out quickly, Dark followed. He found Rafael collecting flowers. He smiled and drew near to Dark.

"For Martha," told Rafael.

Dark just shook his head and he touched Rafael's shoulder.

"Liz!" Lindsey yells.

Elize smiles upon seeing her. She called her early to say that she would pick her up at their house and they will go to university together.

"Elize, forgive her mouth. I don't know why she's the way she is. I once thought because maybe I like to eat expired milk when I was pregnant with her so that's the result.” Lindsey's Mom's funny story

Elize even bothered to go to Linsey's house even though it was far from where she lived.

"Mommy, are you saying anything to Elize again?" said Lindsey.

“Nothing! I just said it's embarrassing for Elize, our home is a long way from her home but she came here just to pick you up. ” Lindsey's mom said so.

"That's how much Elize loves me, Mom," Lindsey said she went on to Elize. "Let's go, friend!"

Lindsey hugged Elize, then took her out of the house. Elize just waved to Lindsey's mom.

On the way, Lindsey was busy taking reading the magazine. She tells Elize what she reads.

"You believe in rumours." Elize's comment.

"You know, they're on the same station, they're probably sick of seeing each other. Plus, most of the artists don't have happy endings. ” Said, Lindsey

"There are many, aren't there?" asked Elize.

"Yes, so what happens is they exchange partners," Lindsey said.

Elize's phone rang. East's name can be seen on the screen. She immediately responded to her call through a Bluetooth headset.

"East, what's up?" Elize asked

“Where are you? You left home early. ” East asked

“Why? Are you in need of anything?" asked Elize.

"Let's have dinner later, my treat." Said East

"I and Lindsey are going for a walk later," said Elize.

Lindsey looked at Elize when she heard her name.

“Where? I'm coming with you. Please please! ” said East

"I can't make a decision right now. Just get back to me this afternoon. ” Said Elize

“Okay, all right. Bye! ” said East

Elize off the call. She turned right when she came into the university parking lot. When she sees a vacant space, she immediately pulled over.

“Who is East? You never told me about him! ” said Lindsey

"He's a close friend," Elize replied

“Just a close friend? Really?" Lindsey's office

"Yes! East is my childhood friend. ” Said Elize

"Your childhood friend invited you on a date?" Lindsey joked again.

“He's payin' back on me. So what? Are you going with us? ” said Elize

“It's a date, Liz. I don't want to be a chaperone, it's embarrassing. ” Said, Lindsey

“I told you it isn't a date. He said he will pay for everything. I'm thinking of going to the bar later, what do you think?” Said Elize

"Geez, why didn't you tell me right away. All right, I'll come! ” said Lindsey with a laugh

Elize smiled.

"Trans."

Trans turned to Dark and smiled a little.

"I'm better looking than you, of course," said Trans with a smile.

“All right, if that's what you believe. Anyway, You want to go with me? ” Dark asked

"Where?" Trans asked, furrowed

"I bought a house," said Dark. "I want you to check it out."

Trans was dumbfounded, looking at Dark. When Dark noticed him, he immediately left in front of Trans and returned to his desk.

"Are you serious?" Trans asked.

Trans knew he had a stupid question. He couldn't even understand why Dark suddenly wanted to show him his house; he was happy.

"As long as you're not busy with backlogs." Said Dark.

Dark walked again, he was heading out of the office.

"You can check me out at the university if you want," Dark said until he left the office.

Trans smiled widely when Auie went into the office.

"You got a great smile, baby!" said Auie.

Auie sat on Trans's lap, then swung his arms around him.

"Dark is supposed to take me to his new house," Trans said happily

“Has he got home yet? It's enviable. ” Auie said she left Trans' lap and sat on the couch. "Baby, I got something to eat, let's eat."

Trans got up right away and approached Auie. He looked at Auie. The woman noticed this.

"Why do you stare at me?" said Auie.

"Do you no longer like Dark?" asked Trans seriously.

"Why did you ask all of a sudden?" asked Auie.

She put the food for Trans on the table.

"You had liked him for a long time, 200 years, if I am not mistaken, you suddenly liked me," said Trans.

Auie looked at Trans. “Ask what you want to know, you're still wandering around, baby. Come on, spill it! ”

“I'm just wondering, do you like me? Is this because I was interested in you? ” Trans asked

Auie stopped what she was doing. Dark and I had this conversation. No matter how hard I try, he won't like me. He says that my eyes and emotions should not focus exclusively on him alone. He also said that I didn't see who was meant for me because I was only looking at him. He said to stop hoping because he had no plans to love. ”

“Why me? Is it because when I became your boyfriend, you were always seeing Dark? ” Trans asked. "You are my first love Auie, I only care about my heart too."

Trans knows what he's asking is as stupid as he is. If Auie suddenly punched him, he can't blame her.

"Why you? Because you're nice, you think of me as a friend even though I always insult and hate you. I don't know why I feel that way about you, I just realized that Dark was right. ” Said Auie

"What did Dark tell you?" Trans's curious question.

“I'm not mad at you, I just thought of it. I'm just ashamed to admit it. That you're everything to me. Dark's handsome, but he's boring. He can't smile, if we stay together, I'll look crazy when I'm around him. ” Said Auie. "I'll laugh along with my jokes, you get what I mean?"

He laughed at everything Auie said. Auie got right close to Trans.

"When you're with me, we're always happy, right? I'm not going to look crazy.” Auie said. "Because you're crazier than me."

Auie and Trans giggled. "I just love you the way you are, Trans. Dark is just part of my past, and you are my present."

"I can be your future if you like," Trans said.

Auie just smile and pinched Trans both ears. "Will you come with me later to Dark's house?" Trans asked

"Of course. I can cook for both of you. ” Said Auie
