Registration is now open.

Aurora looked at her 'Theory of Skills' class exam.

Five pages with different questions of all kinds and everything they learned during this half-year.

From professions such as paladins, mechanics, druids, elementalists, and other subjects such as the most common magical creatures, beasts, and monsters.

They had to develop the description of the creature's strengths and weaknesses.

It was quite annoying because of the unreasonable amount of creatures that existed, but it was still important.

Knowledge was power... No one could deny that fact.

Even so, Aurora quickly finished her examination.

Some subjects were boring, but in this kind of class, this kind of knowledge was something she had learned both in theory and in practice.

Although it was quite long and a heavy test that left her open to great development, Aurora finished it quickly.

—Is it okay? —Aurora asked in her mind.

Her question was directed to her system that when she was young and had to go to school, she would go to where her teacher was to study taking advantage of the fact that time was different there.

Her system had a great deal of knowledge and this test would be an easy one with her help, but...

—…

Her system made three points appear in a row, making it clear he would not respond.

Aurora's lips rose, as she was always the same, opposing 'cheating', but without asking too much she got up and left the exam on Professor Lindbergh's desk.

At her side, Alice did the same.

"Then you will be informed of the score through the Academy application." Professor Lindbergh said after looking at the exam to see if it was complete.

The duo left the classroom ignoring the looks of the students who were still doing their best to pass... After the exam began thirty minutes ago.

It was a long test, but it was not problematic.

As for writing, they both wrote quickly.

"And how do you think you did?" Aurora asked her friend as soon as they left the classroom.

"Well, I guess... It's tests." Alice responded, pulling a bag of chips from her space ring.

Aurora just smiled and didn't say much.

They were tests, but they were easy for some individuals.

The stronger the skill users were the more memory and mental capacity they had.

Although mages and psionics were those who had greater mental capacity because their profession required such ability, fighters and swordsmen could also perform this kind of test with excellent performance if they tried hard enough.

Just a few times reading the notes or the bibliography about creatures or professions would be enough to memorize it if they dedicated a decent degree of effort to it... Although magicians and psionics would only need fewer times due to their high memory.

Of course, that didn't mean that there weren't people who would have a hard time memorizing or studying.

It was common to see some fighters who were known as 'brains of muscles', for solving their problems with their fists, perform poorly on these types of tests.

"Let's go to the dining room. Theology class will begin in a little while." Aurora pointed out and Alice immediately followed.

The academy had resting places and playgrounds for them to rest, but Aurora knew that Alice preferred the kitchen because she could order the odd snack... even if it wasn't lunch or dinner time.

Since today was test day, very few students were in the dining room.

Although not all the exams were together, the other students took more than three classes minimum... In extreme cases filling the afternoon and morning shift with classes, very different from both.

Throughout this month, these students would be devoting all their time to study.

After Alice and Aurora ordered some desserts in the dining room, they sat down at one of the separate tables.

While they ate and talked about the exam like any normal student after an exam, a young man approached them.

"I heard that the History teacher took a vacation for a few months and that there will be no tests in that class," Andres commented after greeting and looking at the duo, he added. "They are lucky."

Aurora and Alice looked at each other but then gave a smile without saying much.

Both were paid because Director Vincent's mission was over, but they also received the report from the same director.

Although it was normal that there were no reports from the contractor after the mission was over, Director Vincent did so out of generosity and not to generate concern.

In the end, Professor Villacrés was affected by the powers of a psionic, which made her transmit important information, allowing everything to happen.

Her mind was affected so the Academy paid for a recuperative institution focused on psionic powers for Professor Villacrés to recover.

Being affected for a long period by psionic mind control powers was not something that could be solved definitively overnight.

There were consequences and there could be a remaining danger if not treated by interdisciplinary professionals in whom mind-centered psionics or mind magic wizards had to be found.

What was pleasing to Aurora was that according to Director Vincent, it was all over.

"Hmm..."

As they ate their dessert quietly, Andres became nervous.

It wasn't because they had been quiet, most of the students who came and sat with Aurora and Alice knew that they were not very talkative when they were eating.

Alice was best known at that point because she basically paid no attention to anything and focused on her food.

However, Aurora noticed that Andres was nervous and almost embarrassed about something else.

"What's wrong?" asked Aurora in a curious tone.

"Oh, nothing just... I'm nervous because the registration program is being enabled today." Andres responded, scratching his cheeks.

The skills theory class was critical in allowing the students to enroll, as without them they would not be allowed to do so.

That's why after the grade check, those who passed would be able to enroll and those students who failed would be able to see the list and see which group to enlist when they passed the second test.

"It must be hard to choose." Supposedly Aurora finished her dessert and looking at Andres, explained. "Among so many groups to choose from or see if an invitation comes. The variety is interesting."

Those were the two available methods.

Students who sent in their requests to register or who received invitations after the different guilds or groups received the list from the academy.

The big problem was that if they wanted to be in a guild that interested them they would have to be accepted and there was always the possibility of not being accepted when they sent in their request to join.

As for the invitations they received, it might have been from a guild or group they did not like, and in the end, they would have to reject it.

"Have you thought about the group you will join?" asked Aurora curiously.

There were quite a few guilds, mercenary groups, or heroes that were scattered around the world and were on the list.

So much so that guilds of important companies were on the list.

The Taranis guild of the Taranis Company was one of them because its guild consisted of mechanics and technology-focused members that were very rare in the world.

For a student to be able to enter that kind of guild, it would mean unique progress because of the veteran experts who could guide him and the technology the company provided.

Andres smiled and looking at the notice on his holographic watch, he stood up.

"You will know when it is enabled," Andres said with a smile and a serious expression, he added. "If you'll excuse me, I have my technology class test."

"Good luck!" Said Aurora and Alice in unison, saying goodbye.

When they were alone, the duo continued to eat.

They didn't go to see the third fight that Andres and Leslie were conducting, but they received the recordings from the academy and both were quite remarkable.

Most of the information from the academy about the students and the recordings of the fights were sent to all those groups or guilds that could choose the students.

As one of those groups, they received that information and concluded that most of the students would be taken by major guilds.

"Do you think we will have many people who want to come with us?" asked Aurora curiously.

Of all the groups, her small group of unnamed mercenaries was the least known and seemed to provide the fewest opportunities.

"I don't know," Alice replied and shrugged, adding. "Even if we have registration requests, we can't accept them all."

They had a limit of students they could accept if they wanted to do everything they wanted to do.

"It's true." Aurora murmured with a sigh.

She had been slightly tweaking her training plan for the students, whoever they were, and not only had she asked Liam to take on some tasks, she even asked for support from an outside group.

As it was time, the duo headed off to their theology class.

When they arrived they found some students who looked quite exhausted and were talking about their exams.

They did not have to wait long for Professor Santulli to enter with a smile.

Giving a casual greeting, Professor Santulli looked at all the students and without hesitation, announced "There will be no tests in this class."

"…"

Everyone was silent before this abrupt announcement and after a moment everyone started to celebrate.

One less test for students in several classes was a reduction of their stress and an increase in time they could use to prioritize other subjects.

"Oh, it's a shame..."

Aurora could hear Alice's murmur, but she ignored it completely.

Although Theology was not so difficult because they taught about different gods that she had heard and studied before, this did not mean that she was not happy to have more free time.

"However, don't party too much. We will still continue with classes and will go deeper into the study of gods to embrace evil entities of great power". Professor Santulli declared, noting that the students were still excited, she added. "Although it may not be like the 'Dark Arts' classes they teach in the second period about ritualists, sects and demonic cults... I want everyone to learn a little bit about these entities."

"With this, I want to tell you..."

Among several of the students, including Aurora and Alice, they received notifications of their holographic watches glowing brightly.

"It's from the combat class," Alice muttered, and Professor Santulli signaled for them to see their business.

All the students looked and...

"Registration is now open."
