Getting to know Piper

I sat in a house on a couch as Piper brought us something to drink. I saw photo frames and noticed pictures of different people. Then I came to one and picked it up.

Staring at it, she walked over and stood there. It was a picture of us.

/"That was the day you propose to me./"

/"We looked happy./" I stared at the photo.

/"We were. I’m so excited that you asked me. We planned on marrying until the night of the accident./"

/"What happened that night? No one has told me much about it./"

/"We left Lyric’s wedding reception, talked, laughed, then you told me you loved me before someone hit us. Afterward, I awoke in the hospital./" She sighed.

I set the frame down, noticing that Piper looked defeated. She walked over to the couch and sat down. I joined her.
