New Neighbors

Nate was getting Nash and Nixon dressed, and I took care of the twins when we heard a truck. The new neighbors are moving in.

He helped me with the twins after getting the older boys settled. I picked up Nathan as he picked up Noah. Being the nosy people we were, we checked out the neighbors. You want to make sure they aren’t serial killers.

We walked outside as movers took furniture and boxes into the house, but we didn’t see the homeowners.

Nate walked over to a mover. /"Excuse me. Are the homeowners here?/"

/"No, sir,/" the mover said.

/"But you’re moving items in?/"

/"Yes, sir./"

/"Um, okay./" He turned and walked back to me.

/"Well?/"

/"The owners aren’t here./" He shrugged.

That was odd. Most homeowners are at the house with the movers. Great. We have weirdos moving in next door to us.
