Christmas is a time of happiness and joy unless a cousin screws it up and sends my girl’s sister packing. Markus informed us he told Matthew about Nora and Mason. That leads to dysfunction at its best.

Matthew went to our grandparents to talk to Nora but found her gone.

/"She left,/" Sam said as Matthew stood in the bedroom that Britt is staying in.

Matthew turned and looked at Sam. /"What?/" Matthew asked.

/"My sister left. You must be Matthew,/" Sam mentioned.

Matthew looked at Sam. Grandpa and Nana watched. Sam walked towards Matthew.

/"Nora told me about you. I’m surprised that someone could capture my sister’s heart how you did,/" Sam told Matthew.

/"Nora’s special,/" Matthew said.
