They say in life, we have choices. Our decisions provide an outcome that doesn’t always help us. Sometimes it causes heartache whether we like it or not.

Nora would find this out the hard way when she became honest about her feelings. It would cause a rift between cousins and one to leave. The situation would escalate at a party we had, inviting different people. We had a party to help Patton out, not realizing it was a disaster in the making.

/"You want to have a party?/" Payton questioned me.

/"Sure, why not? We can invite the usual cast of characters and give Patton a chance to spend time with Britt,/" I suggested.

/"A party where you will have family along with other people here. Are you insane?/" Parker asked.

/"No, plus this will allow me to deal with my anxiety. It doesn’t have to be big,/" I reasoned.

/"It’s been a while since we had a party,/" Parker mentioned.
