We were out of school for Christmas break, and Piper asked if I wanted to go with her to the bakery. My immediate answer is yes. I love the bakery, especially cupcakes.
When we arrived, Parker’s grandmothers were already there waiting for us. Why did I suspect they were here for a reason?
While Piper got to work, they spent some time with me alone. I’m not sure if I should feel happy or scared? I should feel a little of both.
His Grammy looked me up and down, then said, /"So, you’re the one that captured Parker’s attention. You did a pleasant job./" She gave me a thumbs up. What?
/"Yeah, I like him now, but you never know. He might screw up. I may end up with someone else,/" I shrugged. They gave me an annoyed look as they both rolled their eyes.
His Grammy looked at his Nana and said, /"Yep, she’s definitely with Parker./"
I grinned, and his Nana giggled.
