I couldn’t believe Parker finally asked me out. I still can’t believe he kissed me and told me he likes me. It’s all surreal.

We decided on dinner and a haunted house since Halloween was coming. I wanted to do something fun and straightforward. Piper also asked if I would go with her to the bakery to help her. I agreed after she bribed me with cupcakes. Lex laughed when I agreed. Don’t blame me; their cupcakes were outstanding.

We arrived at the bakery to find Maggie there filling orders. Piper showed me to the back and handed me an apron and put it on. I helped Maggie put items in packages. She rang people up while Piper worked in the kitchen area. It was fun.

Once the customers thinned out, Maggie went to help Piper in the back. I stayed up front straightening things and wiping off the counter.
