We walked out of the church and made our way to the hall. Sitting in the back of the car, Piper smiled at me.

/"What?/" Piper asked.

/"I love you so much./"

She smiled even more prominently. /"I love you to the moon and back./"

I leaned over and kissed her. Making Piper, my wife, was the best feeling ever to me.

We pulled up to the reception hall and got out of the car. Walking into the building, someone said, /"Give it up for Lex and Piper Gray!/"

People cheered and clapped as we raised our interlocked hands. Lowering our hands, we made our way around to everyone. It was the best day ever.

Uncle Jonas, Uncle Cayson, and Grampa were standing next to Grammy.

/"Now that is the best sight ever,/" Grammy said.

They watched us make our rounds, greeting people.

/"Don’t tell me you’re getting soft on us, Ma,/" Cayson said.
