I was hanging out with Major. He left to get food, leaving Mia and me alone at his house. Maverick, Michael, Larkin, Lakin, and Lyric had classes and would be back in a few hours. Lex and Piper were busy.

I didn’t mind. Mia and I hung out playing a game. Plus, Lakin and Michael felt better when someone was with her to make sure she didn’t need anything.

As we sat at the table playing a game, there was a knock at the door. That was weird. We weren’t expecting anyone.

/"I’ll get it. Think about your next move./"

/"Okay./" Mia looked at the board game.

I got up from my chair and walked over to the door. /"Who is it?/"

/"Delivery./"

I looked through the peephole to see a delivery person standing there. The person had their head down and flowers in their hands.

/"We ordered nothing./"

/"It’s from Lakin Gray./"
