Luna

School started, and I decided to get on with my life. I attended my first class. Then, after class, I got a coffee. I stood at the counter, trying to decide what I wanted.

/"The lady would like a vanilla cappuccino. I’ll take regular coffee./"

The barista nodded, and I turned to see Major standing there.

/"Thanks./"

/"Sure./" He smiled at me.

The barista returned with our coffee, and Major paid for it. I picked it up and walked away.

/"Wait, Luna./"

I stopped and turned to him.

/"Would you like to join me for a coffee?/"

/"Sure./"

We walked towards a table and sat down. I set my books down and took a sip of my coffee.

/"Would you like to go on a date with me?/"

I sat there, not knowing what to say.

/"It’s dinner and a movie. No funny business./"

/"Only dinner and a movie?/"

/"Yes./"

/"I guess dinner and a movie wouldn’t hurt./"
