After our great kiss, we broke free and sat down in our seats. As we ate, we couldn’t stop smiling. Once we finished, we tossed our stuff into the garbage can and left.

We walked back to the house, and this time, I slid my hand into Michael’s as we walked. I tried to act nonchalant about it, but deep inside, I was bouncing around.

After we returned, Michael kissed me and left. I didn’t want him to leave.

I walked inside, to a bunch of grinning twits, except for Dad. Dad doesn’t smile, not with boys.

/"What?/" I asked.

/"Did you have an enjoyable time?/" Luna asked me.

/"It was okay./" I shrugged, walking past them and running upstairs to my room. I didn’t want to deal with a million questions. I wanted to unpack and think about today.

It didn’t take long before I set up my room. It was doable.

I opened the door to have my sisters and Piper fall into my room.
