/"Do you need anything, Ma?/" Grampa asked Grammy.

/"Nathaniel, I’m ninety-two, it’s hot, and I’m sweating like a whore in church. What do you think?/" Grammy asked.

He rolled his eyes as he looked at Nana. /"Well, ninety-two hasn’t slowed Ma down./"

/"Hmm,/" Nana said.

We pulled into Grampa’s driveway and got out of the van. Kaiden and Kain helped me bring the stuff in while Ma and Dad grabbed the cake. My crazy sisters grabbed the rest of the goodies. Well, that was if they could keep Larkin from eating it all.

We walked inside as everyone greeted us, including Grammy.

/"There are my devil children,/" she said.

We looked at her.

/"Don’t give me that look. You know damn well, your parents spawned you from the depths of hell./" She smirked.

/"Yes, and you are our queen,/" Larkin said.
