Nash received a phone call in the middle of the night. /"Hello?/" He asked with a mumble.

Kat is in labor. We’re on our way to the hospital.

/"Okay./" He hung up the phone.

I stirred and pushed him. /"Who was that?/"

/"Nix./"

/"What did he want?/"

/"Kat is in labor./" He fell back to sleep.

/"Oh./" I closed my eyes then reopened them. We got up and got dressed. We had to grab the quints. Luckily, Nathan stopped by. He walked upstairs. /"Did you need a hand?/"

/"Yes,/" Nash said, as Nathan helped with Lakin. /"Why are you here?/"

/"Nixon called. Macey told me to stop by and help you. She’s staying home and getting some sleep./"

/"Good thinking./"

We finished getting the quints ready and started downstairs when we stopped. Nash took a whiff. /"Larkin? You couldn’t wait./" He turned around to change her.
