Nash and I got up early to avoid having to spend /"family/" time with anyone. Of course, it’s a family vacation, but I wanted to spend time alone with Nash in a romantic state.

He packed a bag of spare clothes and another bag of food if we got hungry. We left the house and didn’t tell anyone, which was our first mistake. The second one gets better.

Let’s rewind to not telling anyone. We thought we would be sly while forgetting our phones during our rush.

We walked until we came across a trail.

/"What do you think?/"

/"We don’t know anything about Hawaii. So a trail we don’t recognize seems like a grand idea./"

/"Where’s your sense of adventure?/" Nash grinned at me.

/"Back at home./"

/"What’s the worst that can happen?/"

/"A bear will eat us?/"

He arched his brow.

/"What? It could happen./"

/"I don’t think bears exist in Hawaii./"
