The Gray house became tense after that day, and Nash wasn’t talking to anyone. He’s a big baby.

We received our midterm results and had passed, which meant we were going somewhere for spring break! It’s better than getting stuck at home. Nolan had to stay home. Nolan’s Valentine’s Day escapade still miffed Nate and Pat. I couldn’t blame them.

For spring break, we were traveling to Mexico. The trust legalities had tied up my money. Who knows when the courts will release my money? Nate and Pat helped me with my expenses. When and if that money became mine, I would pay them back—stupid, greedy birth parents.

I was packing when Nash walked into my room. He said nothing but grabbed my hand and led me out of the room. What now?

We left the house and got into the car. Then he drove to a secluded area. Once we parked, we sat in the car. The silence wasn’t uncomfortable whatsoever.
